In the present chapter it is shown how photocatalytic membrane reactors utilizing membrane processes, which are not pressure driven, can exploit various mechanisms to obtain a substantial improvement of the process. The fundamentals of this particular type of membrane reactors are reviewed including the effects of the most important parameters and the methods and rules of coupling photocatalysis and membrane separation. Effect of pressure on the PVT behaviour of iPP as revealed by dilatometric measurements

Isotactic Poly-propylene samples, previously prepared under known conditions of pressure and cooling rate by means of a special apparatus designed and set-up by the authors, were subjected to several isobaric runs at low cooling and heating rate in a confining fluid dilatometer (by GNOMIX). The effect of the previous thermo-mechanical histories and the effect of pressure in the dilatometry on specific volume of the samples was studied. Results show that the initial specific volume depends upon the previous thermo-mechanical histories, which however cancels out after the first heating run. The Arbëresh linguistic varieties constitute a rich field of investigation for interesting phenomena of language attrition and contact. Because of the ancient and prolonged situation of bilingualism between Albanian and Italo-Romance varieties an interesting set of phenomena of code-switching, loan, convergence and hybridization has presented itself. This research concerns the Arbëresh linguistic minority of Greci, a small town in the Campanian region of southern Italy. The Phrasal Verb Constructions (PVCs) are an interesting example of the intertwining between Italian and dialects of Italy. These constructions are formed by a verbal base (especially of motion), and a locative or direction marking particle and exist in standard Italian as well as in regional varieties of Italian and dialects (i.e. Italian andare via 'go away', mettere giù 'put down'). We have already had the opportunity to demonstrate to what extent the distinction between “common” and “specialised” lexicon is a crucial key to the evaluation of processes of lexical substitution within Sicilian-Albanian contexts.
