The present paper presents the results of experimental analyses carried out to study the behaviour of slotted bolted connections (SBC) as friction steel dampers. The devices consist of bolted joints with slotted holes, which can be used in both steel and RC framed structures or, alternatively, into beam-column and column-foundation joints. The most suitable configurations to increase friction are investigated utilizing steel S355J0 plates and class 10.9HV high-strength bolts, under controlled pre-load and considering different types of surface treatment. Objectives: The aim of this article is to review the current state of immediate implants, with their pros and contras, and the clinical indications and contraindications. Material and Methods: An exhaustive literature search has been carried out in the COCHRANE library and MEDLINE electronic databases from 2004 to November 2009. Randomized clinical trials and clinical trials focused on single implants placed in fresh extraction sockets were included and compared. A meta-analysis could not be performed due to heterogeneity of the data. Abstract In the framework of distributed energy planning, evaluating reliable energy profiles of different sectors has a prominent role. At the same time, it is a quite challenging task, since the availability of actual energy profiles of buildings at the district level is not widespread. Ecology and distribution of hypogeous fungi from Sicily (southern Italy).

The distribution and ecology of 39 hypogeous and semi-hypogeous fungi is reported. Ten taxa, including the rare Fischerula macrospora, are new records for Sicily, while the presence of some species, previously reported by Oreste Mattirolo, is confirmed.

In Europe several mapping techniques exist to lay out plant distribution. Most of them, however, are focused on actual and not on potential species distribution range. Spatial predictions become more important for rare and endangered taxa because their conservation is related to existing as well as potential biotopes. A partir de los discursos de personas divorciadas o separadas (de generaciones nacidas entre 1965 y 1975), se analiza la configuración de las identidades parentales. El divorcio implica reorganizar aspectos relativos al cuidado de hijos/as, favoreciendo la reflexión sobre la propia identidad parental. Nuestra hipótesis problematiza los resultados de Solsona y Ferrer (2010), quienes destacan la centralidad del hecho de ser madres y padres entre las generaciones mayores.
