We are well aware that, no matter how valuable a text may be, its afterlife in other cultural and linguistic contexts is heavily dependent on the translator’s ability to meet the needs and expectations of its target audience. This is precisely what French screenwriter Jules Romains and film director Maurice Tourneur did when adapting Jonson’s Volpone [1940] for the new medium at the advent of sound films. The Role of Marketing Tools in the Improvement of Consumers Financial Literacy

Abstract The aim of the paper is to explore the contribution of different types of marketing communication in consumer financial literacy formation from a three component perspective. As a method a survey among the target audience of home loans was used. The authors have focused on consumer financial knowledge, financial behaviour and financial attitude that constitute financial literacy in home loan market. Target Audience Analysis (TAA) is a process of finding suitable target audiences for psychological operations (PSYOPS). Typically, a TAA is a one-way process with some kind of a feedback system. The cyber domain presents a challenge to this type of sequential, linear process by refusing to stay still while the process is being executed, possibly leading to results from yesterday’s data in an environment that no longer exists today. Visual Representa of a Woman in the Semiotic Landscape of the Baltic States

Linguistic landscape (LL) research of nine cities of the Baltic States shows that feminine discourse is of an essential significance in the public space. This is linguistically proved by feminine person’s names in ergonyms, also by female ergonyms and graffiti themes.
