Multicommutation hydride generation atomic fluorescence determination of inorganic tellurium species in milk
2005
Abstract A multicommutated flow system has been developed for hydride generation, atomic fluorescence (HG-AFS) determination of tellurate (Te VI ) and tellurite (Te IV ) in milk samples. After a batch leaching of Te by sonication at room temperature for 10 min with aqua regia, sample slurries in acidic medium were merged with sodium borohydride and HCl to obtain data on Te IV . Another portion of the acidic slurry was mixed with KBr and passed through a reaction coil introduced inside a microwave oven to reduce quantitatively Te VI to Te IV which was analyzed by HG-AFS. The detection limit was 0.57 ng g −1 in the original samples. The linear range obtained was till 4 ng ml −1 and the averag…

Cs0.86(NH41.14SO4Te(OH)6 in porous anodic alumina for micro fuel cell applications.
2011
Abstract Cs0.86(NH4)1.14SO4Te(OH)6 supported by anodic alumina membranes (AAMs) has been characterized for the first time in H2/O2 fuel cell. The fabricated membrane electrode assemblies are able to produce peak power densities in the range 15–30 mW cm−2 under mild conditions (room temperature, low humidity and low Pt loading) and show an increased durability with cycling with respect to previous results obtained with AAM-based fuel cell. The physico-chemical characterization of the electrolytes has been carried out through X-ray diffractometry, scanning electron microscopy and micro-raman analysis. An estimation of the composite membranes conductance under fuel cell operation has been carr…
Identification of mixed bromidochloridotellurate anions in disordered crystal structures of (bdmim)2[TeX2Y4] (X, Y = Br, Cl; bdmim = 1-butyl-2,3-dime…
2014
The discrete mixed [TeBrxCl6−x]2− anions in their disordered crystal structures have been identified by using the phases prepared by the reaction of 1-butyl-2,3-dimethylimidazolium halogenides (bdmim)X with tellurium tetrahalogenides TeX4 (X = Cl, Br) as examples. Homoleptic (bdmim)2[TeX6] [X = Cl (1), Br (2)] and mixed (bdmim)2[TeBr2Cl4] (3), and (bdmim)2[TeBr4Cl2] (4) are formed depending on the choice of the reagents, and their crystal structures have been determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The coordination environments of tellurium in all hexahalogenidotellurates are almost octahedral. Because of the crystallographic disorder, the mixed [TeBr2Cl4]2− and [TeBr4Cl2]2− anions …
