High yield neutron generator based on a high-current gasdynamic electron cyclotron resonance ion source

In present paper, an approach for high yield compact D-D neutron generator based on a high current gasdynamic electron cyclotron resonance ion source is suggested. Results on dense pulsed deuteron beam production with current up to 500 mA and current density up to 750 mA/cm2 are demonstrated. Neutron yield from D2O and TiD2 targets was measured in case of its bombardment by pulsed 300 mA Dþ beam with 45 keV energy. Neutron yield density at target surface of 109 s 1 cm2 was detected with a system of two 3 He proportional counters. Abstract Although students' affects and behaviors in achievement situations have been shown to be influenced by their previous learning experiences, less is known about how they relate to students' dispositional characteristics, such as temperament. Associations of temperament and personality traits with frequency of physical activity in adulthood

Temperament and physical activity (PA) have been examined in children and adolescents, but little is known about these associations in adulthood. Personality traits, however, are known to contribute to PA in adults. This study, which examined both temperament and personality characteristics at age 42 in relation to frequency of PA at age 50 (JYLS, n = 214-261), also found associations with temperament traits. Tämän pro gradu -tutkielman tarkoituksena oli selvittää lapsen temperamenttipiirteiden yhteyttä lukemisen ja matematiikan oppijaminäkuvaan ensimmäisen luokan syksyllä sekä sitä, onko temperamenttipiirteissä sekä lukemisen ja matematiikan oppijaminäkuvissa havaittavissa sukupuolten välisiä eroja. Lisäksi tutkittiin, ennustavatko temperamenttipiirteet lukemisen ja matematiikan oppijaminäkuvaa keväällä, kun oppijaminäkuvan taso syksyllä on huomioitu sekä onko näissä yhteyksissä havaittavissa sukupuolieroja. Liikuntapedagogiikan pro gradu–tutkielma, 83 s. Tutkimuksen tarkoituksena oli selvittää viidesluokkalaisten oppilaiden temperamenttipiirteitä, liikunnan arvosanoja ja niiden välisiä yhteyksiä sekä sukupuolten välisiä eroja näissä tekijöissä. Lisäksi tutkittiin temperamenttipiirteiden eroja kiitettäviä ja tyydyttäviä liikunnan arvosanoja saaneiden oppilaiden välillä.
