Le sens du regard Contribution sémiotique à la technique de l'eye-tracking face aux packagings produits
2009
International audience; This work is presenting a semiotic point of view of a promising but problematic tool of the communication field -eye-tracking- which is used in various fields to track and exploit the eye-path on an object. Drawing form a list of eye-paths on various packagings, the first step of the analysis was the identification without theoretical a priori- of fixed patterns in these paths. Several models can then be inferred on how the order of acquisition of the elements of an image or a pack might have an influence on the construction of their overall meaning.; Ce travail propose un point de vue sémiotique sur un outil du champ de la communication prometteur mais problématique…
Construction stages of cable-stayed bridges with composite deck
2012
A cable-stayed bridge is built by following a construction sequence of different subsequent stages that imply changes of the geometric configuration, restraints and consequently stress and strain patterns. A study is presented about stay stressing sequences in cable-stayed bridges with composite deck for the case of construction made by the cantilever method. Initial cable forces are found through partial elastic schemes of construction stages. Different stay stressing procedures are implemented and a comparison between them is proposed in order to evaluate the differences in terms of deformed shape and internal force distribution of the deck and the pylon. Results can be useful to give pra…

Coping styles of music teachers
2009
The previous findings have shown that musicians as well as music teachers differ in personality characteristics from the general population. There are strong indications that musicians are exposed to numerous stressful situations during their education and professional life. We aimed to: identify preferred coping styles of music teachers and their possible difference in comparison to non-music teachers* coping styles, as well as to depict their relationship taking into consideration certain socio-demographic variables. The sample consists of music teachers (N=67) who teach instruments and music theory and teachers who teach general subjects (N=72). All the teachers filled in the Plutch…
A strong electroweak phase transition from the inflaton field
2016
We study a singlet scalar extension of the Standard Model. The singlet scalar is coupled non-minimally to gravity and assumed to drive inflation, and also couple sufficiently strongly with the SM Higgs field in order to provide for a strong first order electroweak phase transition. Requiring the model to describe inflation successfully, be compatible with the LHC data, and yield a strong first order electroweak phase transition, we identify the regions of the parameter space where the model is viable. We also include a singlet fermion with scalar coupling to the singlet scalar to probe the sensitivity of the constraints on additional degrees of freedom and their couplings in the singlet sec…
The Effect of the Cranial Electrotherapy on the Muscle Motor Function in Different Operating Modes
2015
The aim of the present study was to analyze the effect of cranial electrotherapy stimulation on muscle function analysis indicators. Instrumental assessment of muscle function (on a REV9000, Technogym, Italy) was performed before and after cranial electrotherapy stimulation, assessments of the muscle function was performed during knee extension maximum voluntary, isometric contraction (MVIC), angle velocity with load 45Nm isotonic contraction and maximum pick torque in isokinetic contraction on 30°/s, 200°/s and 300°/s and neuromuscular efficiency measurements. To analyze data was used Excel program Statistics 3.1. Subjects of our study were twenty healthy athletes of sport fitness. 1 minu…
