Projecte d'investigació-acció: Violència escolar i integració social

En aquest treball es presenta el Projecte d'Investigació-Acció realitzat pel grup Lisis de la Universitat de València. Des del model ecològic, l'interès està a analitzar i prevenir la conducta violenta entre iguals a l'escola. Per a això s'ha aplicat en una mostra de 1319 adolescents d'edats compreses entre els 11 i els 16 anys una bateria d'instruments. En aquest article s'exposa, a tall d'exemple, un dels models d'equacions estructurals calculats en aquesta investigació. En concret s'analitza l'efecte directe i l'indirecte del clima familiar en la conducta violenta entre iguals i en el context escolar.

Lexicografia i correcció: la funció dels diccionaris en la revisió de textos

The aim of this paper is an attempt to revise the role of dictionaries in professional text supervising processes. Under the frame of text linguistics, we first explain how correction tasks are conditioned by text typology. Next, we study the macro structure of dictionaries (in order to consider what kind of lexicographical works are closer to the corrector needs) and then we study their micro structure (in order to set up what kind of information might be relevant for correction tasks). In conclusion, we finally State some lacks of current dictionaries for correction purposes, and we settle some aspects of text revision which are not expected to be solved with dictionary consultation.

Despite recent convincing arguments emphasizing the benefits of using translation in foreign language learning and teaching, there is little empirical research focusing on existing educational practices. Foreign Market Entry Mode Research: A Review and Research Agenda

ABSTRACTThis article gives a retrospective look at the main determinants of foreign market entry modes and examines the variables and conditions used in empirical studies in this stream of research. We found that there is an “analytical context hazard” in past studies. The findings suggest: first, future research should focus on developing and extending theories with reference to strategy dimension and market/industry environment; second, the interrelationship between the main entry mode determinants should be figured out; third, attention has to be paid to the entry modes of firms from non-developed economies in research.

Modifying the texture of foods for infants and young children

The first section of this chapter describes the evolutions in oral physiology (anatomical motor components, oral motor skills and feeding skills) in healthy children (< 3 years). The second section describes how each type of texture is accepted at each oral physiology stage, and how exposures to textures impact oral physiology development and acceptability of textures. There is a need for updated guidance on detection, management and surveillance of sexually transmitted infections (STIs). Chlamydia, gonorrhoea and syphilis reporting needs to be mandatory in more European countries to aid collection of data. More widespread Chlamydia screening is needed in many countries as this is the only way to reduce complications. Recurrent liver metastases of colorectal carcinoma are frequent. The repeat hepatectomy is superior to other therapeutic options. In about 20 % of patients with recurrent liver metastases a complete resection (R 0) is possible. The morbidity of repeat hepatectomy is similar to that of first hepatectomy. The 5-year survival rate after repeat hepatectomy ranges between 30 and 40 %. Often in the follow-up additional operations become necessary for extrahepatic recurrencies. For determination of the optimal therapy an interdisciplinary approach must be chosen.
