No evidence for interactions between modern health worries, negative affect, and somatic symptom distress in general populations

Three theoretically grounded hypotheses were tested that predict interactions between modern health worries (MHWs), somatic symptom distress, and negative affect.Cross-sectional.Hypotheses were tested in a representative German sample (According to the results obtained from the two samples, MHWs were only weakly associated with somatic symptoms and negative affectivity. Frequentist and Bayesian linear regression analyses showed an interaction only in one case. Sparse multipath channels: Modelling, analysis, and simulation

A sparse multipath channel is characterized by a small number of randomly distributed scatterers. This study proposes a methodology for the modelling of sparse multipath channels. The new methodology is then used to develop a sparse narrowband multipath channel model by applying the sum-of-cisoids (SOC) principle. The statistical properties of the presented sparse SOC multipath channel model are studied. Analytical expressions are derived for the mean value, variance, autocorrelation function (ACF) and cross-correlation function (CCF) of the complex channel gain, as well as for the probability density function (PDF) of the envelope. Abstract We study the existence and the continuity properties of the boundary values on the real axis of the resolvent of a self-adjoint operator H in the framework of the conjugate operator method initiated by Mourre. We allow the conjugate operator A to be the generator of a C 0 -semigroup (finer estimates require A to be maximal symmetric) and we consider situations where the first commutator [ H ,i A ] is not comparable to H . Digital background calibration algorithm and its FPGA implementation for timing mismatch correction of time-interleaved ADC

Sample time error can degrade the performance of time-interleaved analog to digital converters (TIADCs). A fully digital background algorithm is presented in this paper to estimate and correct the timing mismatch errors between four interleaved channels, together with its hardware implementation. The proposed algorithm provides low computation burden and high performance. It is based on the simplified representation of the coefficients of the Lagrange interpolator. Simulation results show that it can suppress error tones in all of the Nyquist band.
