Socio-clinical variables affecting the level of self-care in elderly patients with heart failure

Background: Promoting self-care is the cornerstone of heart failure management. The number of hospitalizations and unscheduled visits could be reduced in elderly patients with heart failure by the patients’ active involvement in self-care. Mechanochemical Synthesis of Sn(II) and Sn(IV) Iodide Perovskites and Study of Their Structural, Chemical, Thermal, Optical and Electrical Properties

Phase‐pure CsSnI3, FASnI3, Cs(PbSn)I3, FA(PbSn)I3 perovskites (FA = formamidinium = HC(NH2)2+) as well as the analogous so‐called vacancy‐ordered double perovskites Cs2SnI6 and FA2SnI6 are mechanochemically synthesized. The addition of SnF2 is found to be crucial for the synthesis of Cs‐containing perovskites but unnecessary for hybrid ones. All compounds show an absorption onset in the near‐infrared (NIR) region, which makes them especially relevant for photovoltaic applications. The addition of Pb(II) and SnF2 is crucial to improve the electronic properties in 3D Sn(II)‐based perovskites, in particular their charge carriers mobility (≈0.2 cm2 Vs−1) which is enhanced upon reduction of the …

Health empowerment can be obtained through an informative and educational intervention to increase one's ability to think critically and act autonomously. Medical texts are usually written by professionals and can be difficulty understood by non experts who do not have the same skills and vocabularies. Isospin triplet A=14: search for states with enhanced radii

Abstract This article is devoted to study of isobar-analogue states 1− in triplet A=14: 14C-14N-14O. Previously signs of neutron halo in the 1−, 6.09 MeV state of 14C were obtained by two independent groups. In this article we propose to study neighbouring nuclei 14N and 14O using the Modified diffraction model (MDM) method and the method of Asymptotic normalization coefficients (ANC). Methods were applied to experimental differential cross sections of 14C(α,α)14C scattering and reactions 13C(3He,d)14N and 14N(3He,t)14O. MDM and ANC gave practically similar within errors radii for the studied 1− states: the 6.09 MeV state in 14C – 2.7±0.1 fm, the 8.06 MeV state in 14N – 2.7 ± 0.1 fm, the 5.…

Breaking Symmetry Effects on Heavy Tetraquarks

In this contribution we present symmetry arguments that can be applied to study the stability of four-quark systems with two different masses. The role played by different symmetry breaking effects and the non-Abelian algebra of color forces is discussed in detail. In the particular case of hidden-flavor all-heavy four-quark states, QQ (Q) over bar(Q) over bar, the system becomes unstable for standard color-additive models. Differences and similarities between Qq (Q) over bar(q) over bar and QQ (q) over bar(q) over bar configurations are presented. Resumen El presente trabajo tuvo por objetivo evaluar la incidencia de las prácticas verdes, la innovación sostenible y el manejo del desperdicio alimentario en la construcción del capital de marca de los restaurantes. A partir de una investigación cuantitativa dirigida a responsables de restaurantes en Ecuador, se obtuvieron 120 cuestionarios válidos que permitieron estimar un modelo de ecuaciones estructurales a través de la regresión de mínimos cuadrados parciales. Resumen El objetivo de este trabajo fue analizar cómo la sostenibilidad (económica, social y ambiental), bajo el enfoque de triple línea base, afecta la calidad de servicio, el valor logístico y la satisfacción en empresas del sector marítimo. Se propone un modelo teórico que se contrasta con la información suministrada por una muestra de 50 responsables de empresas (transitarios, importadores y exportadores) en Panamá.
