Bakalaura darba “Žurnālistu reprezentācija filmās “Whiskey Tango Foxtrot” un “Nothing But the Truth”” mērķis ir analizēt, kā filmās reprezentēti žurnālisti. Reprezentācijas aspektus iespējams mainīt, izvēloties dažādus kinematogrāfiskos elementus. Šī iemesla dēļ darba teorijas daļā aplūkota semiotikas, naratīva un reprezentācijas teorija, kā arī žurnālistu raksturojošās profesijas iezīmes. Metodoloģijas daļā aprakstīta semiotikas un naratīva analīze, kas izmantota darba empīriskajā daļā, lai veiktu secinājumus par žurnālistu reprezentāciju izvēlētajās filmās.
