Ocena zagrożeń obszarów Natura 2000 w województwie opolskim na podstawie struktury użytkowania terenu

Dokonano oceny zagrożeń obszarów Natura 2000 ustanowionych na obszarze województwa opolskiego. Analizie poddano struktury użytkowania gruntów i pokrycia terenu 23 znajdujących się tam obszarów. Określono także potencjalny wpływ otoczenia, wyznaczając buforowe strefy oddziaływania, dla których także zbadano strukturę użytkowania i pokrycia terenu. Określono wskaźnik antropogenizacji obszarów uwzględniający podział na formy o charakterze naturalnym i seminaturalnym oraz antropogenicznym. Wskazano główne zagrożenia dla obszarów Natura 2000 województwa opolskiego. Z przeprowadzonych badań wynika, iż tereny te mają charakter w większości naturalny i seminaturalny. Conservation status of the Italian flora under the 92/43/EEC ‘Habitats’ Directive

The results of the 4th National Report for the Italian flora under the 92/43/EEC ‘Habitats’ Directive are presented. The outcomes showed a general negative conservation status for plant species, with the worst situation being in the Mediterranean bioregion. At the National level, significant monitoring and conservation activities are required.
Aposematism in the burying beetle? Dual function of anal fluid in parental care and chemical defence

Burying beetles (Nicrophorus vespilloides) bear distinctive and variable orange-black patterning on their elytra and produce an anal exudate from their abdomen when threatened. During breeding, the anal exudates contribute to the antimicrobial defence of the breeding resource. We investigated whether the anal exudates also provide a responsive chemical defence, which is advertised to potential avian predators by the beetle’s orange and black elytral markings. We found that that the orange-black elytral markings of the burying beetle are highly conspicuous for avian predators against range of backgrounds, by using computer simulations. Signs in public space reflect ‘normalcy’ in a community. The authors ask what restricting signs tell us about a society? In order to explore the system and variation in the ways dog signs manifest different norms and control, they compare two different data sets: dog signs in a Northern European town, Jyväskylä in Finland, and two Eastern European villages in Romania. W artykule przedstawiono ocenę zagrożenia walorów fizjonomicznych krajobrazu wzdłuż drogi krajowej Myślenice – Zakopane, jednej z najważniejszych dróg turystycznych Polski. Podstawą analizy była inwentaryzacja obiektów reklamy zewnętrznej po obydwu stronach drogi w pasmach o szerokości 100 m. Badany obszar ma bardzo istotne znaczenie w percepcji krajobrazów górskich polskiej części Karpat. W wyniku przeprowadzonej analizy stwierdzono bardzo wysoki stopień zagrożenia walorów widokowych przez reklamy. W artykule omówiono aktualne problemy zarządzania konkurencyjnością przedsiębiorstw w celu zapewnienia ich bezpieczeństwa ekonomicznego. Przedstawiono analizę naukowych podejść do definicji pojęcia “bezpieczeństwa ekonomicznego”, określono jego główne cechy lokalne.
