Il Dictionnaire de Littérature di Sabatier de Castres (1770) è considerata la prima opera ad aver fatto uso del sintagma "dizionario di letteratura". L'aspetto innovativo di questo lavoro è tuttavia alquanto limitato a causa della sua vocazione didattica, che lo accomuna a un altro dizionario di Sabatier: il Dictionnaire des Passions, des Vertus et des Vices (1769). El objetivo de este estudio es comprobar cuánto sabe de astronomía el alumnado de un instituto y las concepciones alternativas que posee, y explorar si de alguna forma el desarrollo personal y académico a lo largo de los distintos cursos mejora este conocimiento. Para ello se ha elaborado y realizado un cuestionario de preguntas abiertas a 194 estudiantes en el que se estudian los conocimientos relacionados con el sistema Tierra-Sol-Luna. Stochastic Frontiers Approach: an Empirical Analysis of Italian Environmental Spending

Using the stochastic frontiers approach (SFA) on a panel of Italian regional data, this paper tries to analyse the optimal design of environmental spending. The main question is, so forth, studying centralization vs decentralization of a public economic function, such as the protection of the environment, in order to improve the welfare of a country. Empirical results on Italy are ambiguous: the changing from a centralized to a decentralized government, giving more autonomy to local units, does not highlight a clear improvement in regional economic performance.
Local vs. National Environmental Spending: A Stochastic Frontier Analysis

This work studies the impact of public environmental spending in a fiscal federalist framework. The main question is studying when the centralization of this public economic function is welfare improving. Applying the Stochastic Frontier Approach (SFA) on Italian, Portuguese and Slovakian data, the paper tries to test this issue. Our results highlight the superiority of centralized environmental spending with respect to the decentralization of this particular public good.

The Work of Special Education Teachers in the Tiered Support System : The Finnish Case

This study investigated primary school special education teachers’ (SETs’) (N = 283) conceptions on their work descriptions and uses of pedagogical documents after a reform in the national support framework. The respondents of this survey reported working mostly in Tiers 1 and 2 when all their tasks (instruction, consultation, and managerial tasks) were considered. The responsibilities of the SETs were, however, more clearly defined in Tier 3. The SETs allocate their work autonomously, but their work description is related to their workload.
