This study analyzes the presence of messianic and millennial beliefs in the last period of Ferdinand the Catholic?s reign. For this and after a brief state of the art, we analyze the use of the Christian prophecy of the millennium in speeches and memorials arising from the war in Naples, the North African campaign and the Pisan schism.

Este artículo es una versión resumida del trabajo de investigación, que con el mismo nombre, realicé en el año 2005 en el curso de doctorado del Departamento de Sociología y Antropología social. Trataba de investigar que ocurre con los procesos de creación y ocultación de la memoria, realizando, al mismo tiempo, un ejercicio práctico de construcción de memoria social, a través de algunos de los alumnos que participaron durante los años 1937 y 1938, durante la guerra civil, en una experiencia educativa singular. Rehabilitation of ancient towns poses special questions because of the existing complex physical and social ties that can be properly integrated in decisions on sustainable urban planning by multi-criteria evaluations. This work proposes a description model aiding actions and decisions for the rehabilitation of historic centres through tourism development in Sicilian hinterland areas. The Land Cadastre, as an inventory of all relevant real estate in a territory, and most importantly, as a national tax system is, or at least should be, the protago-nist of fiscal, social and civil implications affecting the Italian context. According to unitary farmland incomes, the last revision dates back to 1978-1979, a period that no longer reflects the country’s current socioeconomic situation and does not consider the changes the land market has undergone over the years. An urban park provides many environmental and recreational facilities and services, and moreover it may become a catalyst for social energies and an instrument of community identification. This paper analyses whether participation and bottom-up planning may compensate institutional absences in implementation of urban parks, and how multiple criteria model may support socially shared decisions about their management.
