This article examines L2 learners’ multimodal literacy practices during two university-level Finnish as a second language courses. My focus is on the students’ use of microblogs as a learning tool. This article examines children’s multimodal literacy practices in an indigenous Sámi language classroom in Northern Finland, with a speci$ c focus on multimodal picture books designed by the pupils. The position of the Sámi languages in people’s linguistic repertoires has changed dramatically during the past 60 years as they have turned into endangered languages with only few speakers. Machine learning tasks usually come with several mutually conflicting objectives. One example is the simplicity of the learning device contrasted with the accuracy of its performance after learning. Another common example is the trade-off that must often be made between the rate of false positive and false negative predictions in diagnostic applications. Magnesium (Mg) is the second most abundant cation after potassium in the intracellular compartment and has a critical role in modulating a large variety of cellular activities and metabolic pathways. Mg is cofactor in over 300 enzymatic reactions including all reactions that involve ATP utilization and transfer [1,2]. Over the past decades, the clinical relevance of Mg and its impact on health has been documented. In the human body, around 24 grams (1 mole) of Mg are present. Less than 1% of total Mg is in the serum; normal serum Mg concentrations range between 0.75-0.95 mmol/L (1.7-2.5 mg/dL or 1.5-1.9 meq/L). Käsittelen tässä tutkielmassa paikallisuuden representoitumista elintarvikemainoksista sekä teksteistä ilmeneviä paikallisuuden diskursseja. Tutkimuskysymykseni ovat: 1) Millaisia paikallisuusdiskursseja mainoksissa rakentuu? ja 2) Miten paikallisuutta ilmaistaan mainoksissa kielellisesti ja multimodaalisesti?
