Interactive Multiobjective Optimization in Lot Sizing with Safety Stock and Safety Lead Time

2021

In this paper, we integrate a lot sizing problem with the problem of determining optimal values of safety stock and safety lead time. We propose a probability of product availability formula to assess the quality of safety lead time and a multiobjective optimization model as an integrated lot sizing problem. In the proposed model, we optimize six objectives simultaneously: minimizing purchasing cost, ordering cost, holding cost and, at the same time, maximizing cycle service level, probability of product availability and inventory turnover. To present the applicability of the proposed model, we consider a real case study with data from a manufacturing company and apply the interactive NAUTI…

Bismuta un antimona halkogenīdu / oglekļa nanocaurulīšu heterostruktūru sintēze, īpašības un pielietojumi lokanās termoelektriskās ierīcēs

2021

Application of a model for the evaluation of the “Visitor Satisfaction” in a nature reserve of South Italy

2017

The protected natural area represents an important resource because from it sustainable and long-lasting social and economic development processes can start. In fact, the conservation of biodiversity can help create economic values by using natural capital which, if properly valorised, can help the momentum of local sustainable development and create diffuse welfare in terms of employment and income. To such a purpose, the evaluation both of the demand by those who enjoy the services of a protected area and of the level of satisfaction that visitors draw from their experience becomes a priority. The present study aims at investigating the behaviour and the preferences of the visitors to a p…

Smart city ed efficientamento energetico: opportunità e sfide dall’European Green Deal e dai programmi europei

2020

Damage to the urinary tract secondary to irradiation.

1995

During the past two decades, highly effective multimodality therapy with surgery, chemotherapy and irradiation has been developed through consecutive national and international study protocols for childhood genitourinary cancers, the model being Wilms' tumor. These studies represent a landmark achievement in the history of pediatric oncology and mark the success of multi-institutional efforts. Now that excellent survival rates have been established, current interest is now directed primarily at examination of survivors for long-term treatment complications and minimizing the side effects while preserving treatment efficacy. Treatment sequelae may not become evident until many years after th…

Le nuove reti di innovazione dello sviluppo sostenibile: i network agro-alimentari biologici in Sicilia

2012

The alternative food network, especially GAS (Solidarity Purchase Groups), are considered like laboratories where testing new models of innovation system (new social paradigms). In this paper is focused the theory of transitions management. With the help of Social Network Analysis, we tried to understand the network between GAS and associations both of them involved in the processes of food production and consumption, aimed at promoting sustainable development in Sicily.

Adapting Downlink Power in Fronthaul-Constrained Hierarchical Software-Defined RANs

2017

Abstract The proof-of-concept software-defined radio access network (RAN) is not flexible enough due to the inherent delay and the necessity of high-capacity fronthaul links. We are hence motivated to propose a hierarchical software-defined RAN architecture, over which the base stations (BSs) are abstracted into multiple virtual local controllers while these local controllers are administered by a high-level controller. Under such a hierarchical network architecture, we particularly investigate in this paper how to adapt the BS transmit power over a long term according to the network dynamics under the constraints of mobile user queue stability and limited fronthaul capacity. We first formu…

Controlled education of patients after stroke (ceops)-nurse-led multimodal and long-term interventional program involving a patient''s caregiver to o…

2018

Background Setting up a follow-up secondary prevention program after stroke is difficult due to motor and cognitive impairment, but necessary to prevent recurrence and improve patients’ quality of life. To involve a referent nurse and a caregiver from the patient’s social circle in nurse-led multimodal and long-term management of risk factors after stroke could be an advantage due to their easier access to the patient and family. The aim of this study is to compare the benefit of optimized follow up by nursing personnel from the vascular neurology department including therapeutic follow up, and an interventional program directed to the patient and a caregiving member of their social circle,…
