Synchronization of hidden chaotic attractors on the example of radiophysical oscillators

In the present paper we consider the problem of synchronization of hidden and self-excited attractors in the context of application to a system of secure communication. The system of two coupled Chua models was studied. Complete synchronization was observed as for self-excited, as hidden attractors. Beside it for hidden attractors some special type of dynamic was revealed.
Sir Thomas More's Utopia : An overlooked economic classic

Sir Thomas More's Utopia, published in 1516, is a classic work of how to organise a society based on common property. With a unique mix of common property, institutions and sound economic insights, we argue that More built a framework for a society that could be viable in the long run. While the conditions that make Utopia work are quite restrictive, it does provide a sketch of a society where common property may not stifle long‐term development, but is associated with productive workers and people content with their lives.

Ihmistoiminta on joko suoraan tai välillisesti aiheuttanut useiden lajien populaatioiden taantumisen ja jopa sukupuuton. Eläinten tarhauksen ja kasvatustoiminnan avulla pyritään säilyttämään lajin kanta elinvoimaisena vapauttamalla tarhassa kasvatettuja yksilöitä luontoon. Tarhaolosuhteet voivat kuitenkin poiketa paljon luonnonoloista, jolloin valintapaineet ovat erilaiset kuin luonnossa. The effect of bioreactor design on nitrification efficiency has been well studied, but less is known about the overall impacts on water quality. Besides nitrification, submerged fixed bed bioreactors (FBBR) trap fine solid particles, whereas moving bed bioreactors (MBBR) grind solids, possibly increasing solids and particle accumulation in the system. Abstract Polichne mukonja Griffini, 1908 from Cameroon was hitherto known only from the holotype preserved at the Royal Belgian Institute of Natural Sciences, Brussels. This was probably due to the fact that the genus Polichne Stål, 1874 distributed only in Australia and Papua New Guinea. In view of this distribution, the tropical African species was therefore overlooked in the African literature. The recent discovery of two specimens at the Naturhistorisches Museum, Vienna, now provides us with a better understanding of the identity of this taxon, which is related to the African genus Catoptropteryx Karsch, 1890. This study addresses the gap in our understanding of the role of pedagogy in agency construction among higher education students. In the present study, profiles of students’ agency experiences were identified and analysed with respect to the students’ perceptions of teaching practices in their courses (i.e., student-centred learning activities, forms of instruction, and student-teacher roles). The Agency of University Students (AUS) Scale (Jääskelä et al., 2017) was used to assess the students’ experiences of their personal, relational, and participatory resources of agency.
