Melnikov functions and Bautin ideal
2001
The computation of the number of limit cycles which appear in an analytic unfolding of planar vector fields is related to the decomposition of the displacement function of this unfolding in an ideal of functions in the parameter space, called the Ideal of Bautin. On the other hand, the asymptotic of the displacement function, for 1-parameter unfoldings of hamiltonian vector fields is given by Melnikov functions which are defined as the coefficients of Taylor expansion in the parameter. It is interesting to compare these two notions and to study if the general estimations of the number of limit cycles in terms of the Bautin ideal could be reduced to the computations of Melnikov functions for…

Monotonicity-based inversion of the fractional Schr\"odinger equation II. General potentials and stability
2019
In this work, we use monotonicity-based methods for the fractional Schr\"odinger equation with general potentials $q\in L^\infty(\Omega)$ in a Lipschitz bounded open set $\Omega\subset \mathbb R^n$ in any dimension $n\in \mathbb N$. We demonstrate that if-and-only-if monotonicity relations between potentials and the Dirichlet-to-Neumann map hold up to a finite dimensional subspace. Based on these if-and-only-if monotonicity relations, we derive a constructive global uniqueness results for the fractional Calder\'on problem and its linearized version. We also derive a reconstruction method for unknown obstacles in a given domain that only requires the background solution of the fractional Sch…
Multiple periodic solutions for Hamiltonian systems with not coercive potential
2010
Under an appropriate oscillating behavior of the nonlinear term, the existence of infinitely many periodic solutions for a class of second order Hamiltonian systems is established. Moreover, the existence of two non-trivial periodic solutions for Hamiltonian systems with not coercive potential is obtained, and the existence of three periodic solutions for Hamiltonian systems with coercive potential is pointed out. The approach is based on critical point theorems. © 2009 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
Māsu pieredze pacientu aprūpē ar diagnosticētu veģetatīvās distonijas sindromu
2019
Improved Efficacy of Synthesizing *MIII-Labeled DOTA Complexes in Binary Mixtures of Water and Organic Solvents. A Combined Radio- and Physicochemica…
2018
Typically, the synthesis of radiometal-based radiopharmaceuticals is performed in buffered aqueous solutions. We found that the presence of organic solvents like ethanol increased the radiolabeling yields of [68Ga]Ga-DOTA (DOTA = 1,4,7,10-tetraazacyclododecane-1,4,7,10-tetraacatic acid). In the present study, the effect of organic cosolvents [ethanol (EtOH), isopropyl alcohol, and acetonitrile] on the radiolabeling yields of the macrocyclic chelator DOTA with several trivalent radiometals (gallium-68, scandium-44, and lutetium-177) was systematically investigated. Various binary water (H2O)/organic solvent mixtures allowed the radiolabeling of DOTA at a significantly lower temperature than …
Electrochemical molecular recognition of silver cation by electropolymerised thieno[3′,4′:5,6][1,4]dithiino[2,3-b]quinoxaline: a joint experimental a…
2000
The novel annelated monomer thieno[3′,4′:5,6][1,4]dithiino[2,3-b]quinoxaline 1 has been electropolymerised on a variety of electrodes, resulting in films which are electroactive in non-aqueous and aqueous solution. The polymer films exhibit a transformation in voltammetric response corresponding to a positive shift in redox potential in the presence of silver cation, the maximum shift being ca. 150 mV in acetonitrile and ca. 400 mV in aqueous LiClO4 solution. Mercury dication demonstrates a similar, but smaller (ca. 130 mV) shift in aqueous solution. Theoretical calculations clearly show the potential of poly(1) as a metal complexation agent. The Ag+ ion coordinates with 1 in two ways: (i) …
Aqueous nonionic copolymer-functionalized laponite clay. A thermodynamic and spectrophotometric study to characterize its behavior toward an organic …
2006
The affinity of functionalized Laponite clay toward an organic material in the aqueous phase was explored. Functionalization was performed by using triblock copolymers based on ethylene oxide (EO) and propylene oxide (PO) units that are EO(11)PO(16)EO(11) (L35) and PO(8)EO(23)PO(8) (10R5). Phenol (PhOH) was chosen as organic compound, which represents a contaminant prototype. To this purpose, densities and enthalpies of mixing as well as PhOH UV-absorption spectra were determined. The enthalpy and the spectrophotometry revealed PhOH-Laponite interactions whereas the volume did not. It emerged that the area occupied by PhOH on the Laponite surface is equal to that computed from the partial m…
