A systematic review was conducted of the effects of randomized controlled interventions to prevent sports injuries. A systematic search was performed of various databases and the reference lists of articles and reviews. Background Oral lichen planus (OLP) is a chronic inflammatory disease of the skin and mucous membrane presented with various clinical appearances. The aim of the present study was to elucidate the clinical profile of patients with OLP. Material and methods The dental records of 102 patients who visited Oral Medicine Clinic, Dental Hospital, Naresuan University during 2002-2018 were retrospectively reviewed. In the brain, m-calpain and micro-calpain, the two ubiquitous calpain-isoforms, are strongly activated in neurones after an excitotoxic Ca2+ influx occurring, for example, during cerebral ischemia.
