International audience; Modified nucleotide 5-methylcytosine (m(5)C) is frequently present in various eukaryotic RNAs, including tRNAs, rRNAs and in other non-coding RNAs, as well as in mRNAs. RNA: m(5)C-methyltranferases (MTases) Nop2 from S. cerevisiae and human proliferation-associated nucleolar antigen p120 are both members of a protein family called Nop2/NSUN/NOL1. Protein p120 is well-known as a tumor marker which is over-expressed in various cancer tissues. Photophysical properties of a water-soluble cluster Au102(pMBA)44 (pMBA = para-mercaptobenzoic acid) are studied by ultrafast time-resolved mid-IR spectroscopy and density functional theory calculations in order to distinguish between molecular and metallic behavior. In the mid-IR transient absorption studies, visible or near-infrared light is used to electronically excite the sample, and the subsequent relaxation is monitored by studying the transient absorption of a vibrational mode in the ligands. The regionalization of national input-output tables : A study of South Korean regions

This paper uses survey‐based data for 16 South Korean regions to refine the application of Flegg's location quotient (FLQ) and its variant, the sector‐specific FLQ (SFLQ). These regions vary markedly in terms of size. Especial attention is paid to the problem of choosing appropriate values for the unknown parameter δ in these formulae. Alternative approaches to this problem are evaluated and tested. Our paper adds to earlier research that aims to find a cost‐effective way of adapting national coefficients, so as to produce a satisfactory initial set of regional input coefficients for regions where survey‐based data are unavailable. Johdanto. Hiihtosuunnistuksella on jo vuosikymmenten perinteet. Ensimmäinen suomenmestaruuskilpailu järjestettiin vuonna 1966. Laji on muuttunut paljon etenkin kahden viime vuosikymmenen aikana vapaan hiihtotavan tultua perinteisen tilalle ja välineiden kehittymisen myötä. Tämän työn tavoitteena on kertoa hiihtosuunnistuksesta lajina sekä selvittää hiihtosuunnistuksen lajivaatimuksia. Tavoitteena on myös kertoa lajin nykytilasta sekä tuoda esille hiihtosuunnistuksen harjoittelua valmennuksen ohjelmoinnissa esimerkkiurheilijan viikkoesimerkein. Kestävyys ja voima.
