Taurolidine (TRD) has antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties. However, the anti-inflammatory effects of TRD in inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD) have not been investigated. Here, we have analyzed the toxicity of TRD after oral long-term application in mice and examined the impact of oral TRD in a dextran sulfate sodium (DSS) model of experimental colitis. The effects of adrenaline (2.2×10−6 M) and cyclic N6-2′-O-dibutyryl-adenosine-3′,5′-monophosphate (DB-c-AMP; 10−3 M) on mechanical performance, 45Ca uptake and total tissue calcium concentration were investigated in electrically stimulated left auricles isolated from female rats weighing 180–220 g. Abstract In this work we evaluated the in vivo effects of chronic metribuzin exposure at doses that mimic human exposure through diet. Male and female rats were fed a potato diet containing metribuzin at low doses (D1, 1.3 mg/kg or D2, 13 mg/kg) for 3 months. Obtaining information on expectations among dental students regarding their career planning was the main purpose of this observational online survey. The questionnaire was designed with 18 items in five different languages: English, French, German, Italian and Spanish. Data were collected on nationality, age, sex, country of residence, university attended, semester, expected year of graduation and expectations about future career. Based on national health profile assessments, this study investigated perceived changes of lifestyle habits in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and associations between perceived lifestyle changes and mental health in Swedish working adults. Among 5599 individuals (50% women, 46.3 years), the majority reported no change (sitting 77%, daily physical activity 71%, exercise 69%, diet 87%, alcohol 90%, and smoking 97%) due to the pandemic. Thirty patients with measurable metastatic breast carcinoma were treated with a combination of cyclophosphamide 600 mg/m2 on day 1, levofolinic acid 100 mg/m2 plus 5-fluorouracil 375 mg/m2 on days 1-3, and epidoxorubicin (EDXR) in three refracted doses on days 1-3 with G-CSF rescue for 10 days.
