Tragico e tragedia in "una questione privata"

The article focuses on the theoretical concepts of ‘Tragic’ and ‘Tragedy’, here applied to the novel Una questione privata by Beppe Fenoglio (originally published in 1963). The first part mostly regards the similarities between Una questione privata and dramatic structures (both theatrical and cinematographic) that Fenoglio could have read at that time. A short comparison with ancient Greek tragedy, in particular with Sophocles’ piece Oedipus, closes the first part. In the second one, the Author conducts a thematic analysis on textual premonitions of Milton’s tragic fate in Una questione privata.

L’articolo si occupa di un pannello dipinto scoperto durante lo scavo della ‘Casa dell’Attore tragico’ a Sabratha, raffigurante un personaggio femminile stante, la c.d. ‘Roma in costume amazzonico’. Viene proposta una rilettura del soggetto, non solo in relazione con gli altri affreschi scoperti nello scavo della casa, ma anche della ‘Dea Roma’ raffigurata in una scena di dextrarum iunctio nel rilievo del pulpito del teatro, situato non lontano dalla Casa dell’Attore tragico.

Ferdinand Wilhelm Bronners "Schmelz, der Nibelunge" comedy (1905) reflects anti-Semitism and anti-Slavism in Vienna around 1900. The main character suffers painfully from the inner conflict between her German-national identification and her Jewish descent. The author of the comedy converted to Protestntism and denied all his life his Jewish heritage. The aim is to clarify whether the Galician Jew and writer Ferdinand Bronner offers on stage a solution to the Jewish question that transcends racial anti-Semitism and Zionism beyond the seemingly opposite tendencies in time.
Memorial Tourism - a Turn toward Locality

This paper presents the phenomenon of travelling to places of memory, with particular emphasis on their local naturę. Examples discussed include places of memory directly related to the miners’profession, in particular those that are devoted to the victims of tragic events that took place in mines. In the last few years tourists have become more interested in places of memory related to mining, which is directly associated with the functioning of the nature-tourist trail called “Following the miners’ toil”, created on the initiative of the members of “Sokół” Cycling Club, which is a part of PTTK Division in Radlin.

Guerra y castigo son dos aspectos de la violencia que Séneca incluye en sus tragedias. El tratamiento dramático de ambos conceptos, apoyado en las referencias a ellos de sus obras en prosa, nos permite deducir en primer lugar la diferente consideración que tiene el autor a cerca de la guerra según se trate de una guerra contra una nación extranjera, una guerra civil, la expulsión de un tirano o el hecho bélico en general. Del mismo modo Séneca nos deja ver en la mímesis del drama (considerando ahora sólo Medea) la dificultad de aplicar en la vida real las teorías sobre crimen, castigo, beneficio o gratitud expuestas en sus tratados.
