The inhibitor of apoptosis protein cIAP1 (cellular inhibitor of apoptosis protein-1) from the IAP family (Inhibitor of Apoptosis Protein) is an oncogene with an E3 ubiquitin ligase activity. cIAP1 is relocalized from the nucleus to the cytoplasm during the differentiation of many kind of cellular models (macrophages, dendritic cells, colon epithelial cells, hematopoietic stem cells, cardiomyocytes) and this relocalization is associated with a proliferation arrest. The well-known functions of cIAP1 are associated with its cytoplasmic localization, where it regulates the TNFa receptors and NF-?B signaling pathways. How to Enrich Description Logics with Fuzziness

International audience; The paper describes the relation between fuzzy and non-fuzzy description logics. It gives an overview about current research in these areas and describes the difference between tasks for description logics and fuzzy logics. The paper also deals with the transformation properties of description logics to fuzzy logics and backwards. While the process of transformation from a description logic to a fuzzy logic is a trivial inclusion, the other way of reducing information from fuzzy logic to description logic is a difficult task, that will be topic of future work.
Lossless and nearly-lossless image compression based on combinatorial transforms

Common image compression standards are usually based on frequency transform such as Discrete Cosine Transform or Wavelets. We present a different approach for loss-less image compression, it is based on combinatorial transform. The main transform is Burrows Wheeler Transform (BWT) which tends to reorder symbols according to their following context. It becomes a promising compression approach based on contextmodelling. Multi-rogue solutions to the focusing NLS equation

The study of rogue waves is a booming topic mainly in oceanography but also in other fields. In this thesis I construct via Darboux transform a multi-parametric family of smooth quasi-rational solutions of the nonlinear Schödinger equation that present a behavior of rogue waves. For a general choice of parameters the second-order solutions give a model of "three sisters" (three higher than expected waves in a row) while for a particular choice of parameters we obtain the solutions given by Akhmediev et al. in a serie of articles in 2009. Then these solutions allow me to construct rational solutions of the KP-I equation that describe waves in shallow water.
Evaluation of the areal material distribution of paper from its optical transmission image

International audience; The goal of this study was to evaluate the areal mass distribution (defined as the X-ray transmission image) of paper from its optical transmission image. A Bayesian inversion framework was used in the related deconvolution process so as to combine indirect optical information with a priori knowledge about the type of paper imaged. The a priori knowledge was expressed in the form of an empirical Besov space prior distribution constructed in a computationally effective way using the wavelet transform. AIRINOV is specialized in use of UAV for precision agriculture. Thanks to a high spatial resolution up to 1.5 cm/pixel in RGB images, discrimination between vegetation (crop row, weed) and soil can be done. Variability can be detected in weed density inside the whole field. The detection of weeds in the inter-row of hoed row crops was tested on RGB images. The methodology developed is based on Hough transform, and is composed of three main steps: image segmentation, soil/vegetation discrimination and crop rows localization. First results are promising but need complementary measures for validation.

The DRADEM campaign was performed from July 9th to 21th 2016 on board the Pourquoi Pas?, in the Exclusive Economic Zones of Suriname and French Guyana. This campaign belongs to a program dedicated to geological investigations of the Demerara plateau, following the GUYAPLAC (2003) and IGUANES (2013) campaigns, and before the MARGATS campaign (2016). The aims of the DRADEM campaign were to map the continental slope of the transform margin north of the Demerara plateau, and to dredge the rocks outcropping in the slope.We completed the bathymetric mapping of the continental slope, including part of the edged of the Demerara plateau.
