Cette illustration conçue par l'auteur et co-réalisée avec l'association Alterre Bourgogne-Franche-Comté vise à synthétiser le concept de la Transition, fonctionnant comme un système, où chaque élément est lié aux autres, de telle sorte qu'on ne peut efficacement concevoir une banche de transition sans structurer les autres dans une même dynamique.Cette modélisation est issue de travaux de recherche de l'auteur qui sont en cours de publication (sur 2022 et 2023) dans le cadre de l'Observatoire de la Transition Socio-Écologique (MSHE C. N. Ledoux, Université de Franche-Comté et CNRS, Université de Bourgogne), et dans le cadre d'une Habilitation à Diriger les Recherches en cours.

Le lieu-dit Le Castelet à Grenade (Haute-Garonne) est situé à égale distance (1,5 km) du confluent Hers-Girou vers l’est et d’un méandre de la Garonne vers le nord-ouest. Un projet de carrière de la Société Midi-Pyrénées Granulats a permis de retrouver dans ce lieu les traces de plusieurs occupations humaines, échelonnées pour l’essentiel entre le Néolithique moyen et de la fin de l’âge du Bronze. L’ancien réseau hydrographique secondaire de la Garonne marque le paysage et draine dans le sous-sol la nappe phréatique, constituant sans doute un atout. Theoretical Analysis of the M12Ag32(SR)404– and X@M12Ag32(SR)304– Nanoclusters (M = Au, Ag; X = H, Mn)

We analyze the electronic structure and optical properties of the recently reported, structurally known M12Ag32(SR)304– clusters (M = Au, Ag) by using density functional theory and time-dependent density functional perturbation theory. Effects of the chemical changes in the metal core, charge of the cluster, and nature of the thiolate ligand on the electronic structure and optical absorption are reported. In addition, doping the metal core with a magnetic transition metal atom (Mn) or hydrogen (protons) is discussed. Role of Vibrational Dynamics in Electronic Relaxation of Cr(acac)3

Ultrafast energy relaxation of Cr(acac)3 dissolved in tetrachloroethylene (TCE) is studied by time-resolved infrared (TRIR) spectroscopy by using electronic and vibrational excitation. After electronic excitation at 400 or 345 nm, the ground state recovers in two time scales: 15 ps (major pathway) and 800 ps (minor pathway), corresponding to fast electronic transition to the ground state and intermediate trapping on the long-lived (2)E state followed by intersystem crossing (ISC) to the ground state. The quantum yield for the fast recovery of the ground state depends on the excitation wavelength, being higher for 345 nm. Vibrational cooling (VC) occurs on the electronic excited states with …
Equal access to the top? Measuring selection into finnish academia

In this article, we draw a parallel between equality of opportunity in educational transitions and equality of opportunity in academic careers. In both cases, many methodological problems can be ameliorated by the use of longitudinal rather than cross-sectional data. We illustrate this point by using Finnish full-population register data to follow the educational and academic careers of the 1964–1966 birth cohorts from birth to the present day. We show how the Finnish professoriate is highly selected both in terms of parental background and in terms of gender. International audience; We recently used the notion of praxeology from the Anthropological Theory of the Didactic to model the knowledge that is necessary for students to learn in order to succeed in an undergraduate multivariable Calculus course. We considered the presence and absence of elements of the knowledge to be taught, as proposed by curricular documents, in the knowledge to be learned, as indicated by final exams. A study of transitions in an undergraduate mathematics program

International audience; In this paper, we introduce an in-progress study of the transitions students face as they advance in their mathematics courses. Previous work has discussed the changes that occur in the transition from high school to university. With regards to the knowledge students are expected to learn, however, significant similarities have been noted: to do well in introductory university courses, students can learn to solve a particular subset of tasks through routinized techniques, with limited awareness of the supporting mathematical theory.
