"Table 25" of "Studies of W boson plus jets production in p\bar{p} collisions at sqrt(s)=1.96 TeV"
2013
Differential production cross-section, normalized to the measured inclusive W boson cross-section, as a function of W boson pT for events with four or more jets produced in association with a W boson. First uncertainty is statistical, second uncertainty is systematic.
Search for anomalous Wtb couplings in single top quark production

No. of bitstreams: 0 Previous issue date: 2008-11-25 Science and Technology Facilities Council In 0.9fb-1 of pp̄ collisions, the D0 Collaboration presented evidence for single top quark production in events with an isolated lepton, missing transverse momentum, and two to four jets. We examine these data to study the Lorentz structure of the Wtb coupling. The standard model predicts a left-handed vector coupling at the Wtb vertex. The most general lowest dimension, CP-conserving Lagrangian admits right-handed vector and left- or right-handed tensor couplings as well. We find that the data prefer the left-handed vector coupling and set u…
Measurement of dijet production with a veto on additional central jet activity in pp collisions at sqrt(s)=7 TeV using the ATLAS detector
2011
A measurement of jet activity in the rapidity interval bounded by a dijet system is presented. Events are vetoed if a jet with transverse momentum greater than 20 GeV is found between the two boundary jets. The fraction of dijet events that survive the jet veto is presented for boundary jets that are separated by up to six units of rapidity and with mean transverse momentum 50 < p¯T < 500 GeV. The mean multiplicity of jets above the veto scale in the rapidity interval bounded by the dijet system is also presented as an alternative method for quantifying perturbative QCD emission. The data are compared to a next-to-leading order plus parton shower prediction from the powheg-box, an all-order…
