In this article, I firstly argue that femicide is a word that indicates the psychological and physical violence against women because they belong to the female gender. I analyze in particular the femicide cases that took place in the border between Ciudad Juarez and Texas from 1993 until now, in addition to the cases on the border between Tijuana and Baja California. [EN] Each time the foot contacts the ground during running there is a rapid deceleration that results in a shock wave that is transmitted from the foot to the head. The fatigue of the musculoskeletal system during running may decrease the ability of the body to absorb those shock waves and increase the risk of injury. Preterm delivery may lead to the emergence of symptoms of Post-Traumatic Stress disorder (PTSD), which may, in turn, affect the quality of the mother-child relationship. The aim of this study is to shed light on the development of parenting stress in mothers of preterm and full-term children. It is hypothesized that PTSD symptoms mediate the relationship between preterm/full-term birth and the levels of parenting stress. Perinatal PTSD, parenting stress and social support were assessed in 156 mothers of full-term children and 87 mothers of preterm children. Introduction: Diaphragmatic injuries are rare consequences of thoracoabdominal trauma and they often occur in association with multiorgan injuries. The diaphragm is a difficult anatomical structure to study with common imaging instruments due to its physiological movement. Šī darba mērķis bija noskaidrot, vai pastāv saistības starp pēc traumas stresa simptomu izpausmēm un stresa pārvarēšanas stratēģiju izvēli, Neatliekamās medicīniskās palīdzības mediķu un Pašvaldības policistu grupās kā arī, vai pastāv atšķirības starp grupu korelāciju saistībām. Pētījumā, kopumā, piedalījās N = 74 operatīvās reaģēšanas dienestu darbinieki, kuri atrodas aktīvajā dienestā ar minimālo darba stāžu, 1 gads. Respondentu grupās tika anketēti n = 47 Neatliekamās medicīniskās palīdzības mediķi un n = 27 Pašvaldības policisti.
