Background Implantoplasty (IP) involves polishing of the exposed surface of implants affected by peri-implantitis (PI). A study was made to determine whether the degree of bone loss influences the fracture resistance of implants with or without IP. Material and Methods An in vitro study was carried out on 32 narrow (3.5 mm) dental implants with a rough surface and external hexagonal connection. This research studies dynamics of the institutional and family ties of the foster child with a complementary approach that articulates attachment theory and a psychodynamic perspective. METHODOLOGY. Through a mixed (quantitative and qualitative) and longitudinal (one year) methodology, the research was conducted with ten children (N=10) who have just arrived for the first time in foster care and professionals (N=17) who surround them. Le diagnostic et le bilan de cette pathologie sont, dans l'immense majorité des cas, réalisés grâce aux clichés standards, surtout pour le squelette appendiculaire. Les fractures de l'enfant sont plus souvent diaphysométaphysaires incomplètes qu'épiphysométaphysaires. Elles touchent principalement le membre supérieur par ordre de fréquence.
