There are three vineyards that represent for morphological characteristics and management the entire sub-basin which is one of the areas most under vines in Sicily. The aim is to assess the sustainability of irrigation management in terms of saving energy through the application of the model FAO 56 fetlock water balance. This study lays the foundation for the preparation of action plans developed to reverse negative trends in environmental resource management which are susceptible to degradation processes.

Settore ING-IND/14 - Progettazione Meccanica E Costruzione Di MacchineAfter a thorough literature search on magnetorheological fluids their behavior and use it has gone to the design of a magnetorheological clutch for motor vehicles. Considering the characteristics of transmitted torque and power the device is dimensioned taking into account the constraints of space of the examined vehicle. Subjecting the device to magnetostatic finite element analysis it was determined the trend of the flow lines of the magnetic field in the gap of fluid and in areas of greater interest calculating the torque transmitted theoretically by the clutch. The performance comparison between a traditional clutch and a MR clutch was also performed pointing out that the MR clutch presents shorter response times with high energy savings. The study carried out shows that the device is well suited to a vehicle with automatic or robotic or otherwise with very short response times but requires a control system for the starting the vehicle.

Licenziamento e rideterminazione della sanzione disciplinare nel lavoro pubblico privatizzato

Il contributo, dopo un’analisi della disciplina sanzionatoria del licenziamento invalido nel pubblico impiego, prende in esame il nuovo art. 63, c. 2 bis, del D.lgs. n. 165/2001. La norma, che attribuisce al giudice il potere di rideterminare la sanzione in caso di difetto di proporzionalità, è oggi una peculiarità della disciplina del lavoro pubblico privatizzato. L’Autore ritiene che questa si ponga in controtendenza con le recenti riforme del lavoro in Italia, in quanto recupera importanti spazi alla discrezionalità giudiziale.

The Author believes that this goes against the trend of recent labor reforms in Italy recovering important spaces for judicial discretion.

The paper focuses on the co-existence of national identities, the concepts of Central Europe as a geographic space, and Mitteleuropa as a cultural space. In particular, it examines the development of a cultural unity need after the fall of the Austrian Empire, namely from the time of independent small states after the WWI, to the time of the iron curtain that reshaped the continent into two halves, West and East, thus delating the spirit of Mitteleuropa. Recent trends in salmonellosis epidemiology

The taxonomy of the genus Salmonella and the recent trends in the epidemiology of salmonellosis have been reviewed. Global and Italian trends in salmonellae infections have been considered focusing on the application of molecular biology methods to the study of epidemic isolates, as in the case of S. Wien and the more recent S. Enteritidis pandemics. Interventions for salmonellosis prevention, and control measures including new rapid cultural methods for the detection of salmonellae in foods, have been summarized.

Changes in Onset of Vegetation Growth on Svalbard, 2000–2020

The global temperature is increasing, and this is affecting the vegetation phenology in many parts of the world. The most prominent changes occur at northern latitudes such as our study area, which is Svalbard, located between 76°30′N and 80°50′N. A cloud-free time series of MODIS-NDVI data was processed. The dataset was interpolated to daily data during the 2000–2020 period with a 231.65 m pixel resolution. The onset of vegetation growth was mapped with a NDVI threshold method which corresponds well with a recent Sentinel-2 NDVI-based mapping of the onset of vegetation growth, which was in turn validated by a network of in-situ phenological data from time lapse cameras.
