Mercury in fish products: what’s the best for consumers between bluefin tuna and yellowfin tuna?

A total of 205 bluefin and yellowfin tuna samples were examined for mercury detection in order to verify possible differences and have a detailed risk assessment of the two tuna species. The results showed significant higher mercury concentration in muscle tissue of bluefin tuna respect yellowfin tuna (p < 0.001) with mean concentration of 0.84 mg/kg and maximum value of 1.94 mg/kg. These differences can be due the different biological and ecological aspects of the two tuna species and to different oceanographic aspects between Atlantic Ocean and Mediterranean sea. In the course of its history, the Musee des Ursulines, at Macon, collected about 10 bronze figurines, some of them found as early as the mid-17th c. This article describes this largely unpublished collection and its scientific implications. Among the new data appears a votive bronze statuette, of italic type, found locally and datable to the Vth-IVth c. BC.
Political Action Beyond Resistance: Arendt and "Revolutionary Spirit" in Egypt

The article examines what it calls the "politics-as-resistance" frame in contemporary political theory, originating in the works of Michel Foucault and Judith Butler. This way of organizing political experience is contrasted with Hannah Arendt's political thought, particularly her writings on revolutionary action. Arendt's often overlooked – and partly unpublished – passages on virtù and fortuna are further suggested as important additions to her thinking on action. I argue that Arendt's "world-centric" approach can illuminate certain aspects of political experience that remain dimmed in the more subject-oriented politics-as-resistance frame. Since the last decades, dielectric ceramics have been considered as attractive for microwave applications as tunable dielectric resonators or phase shifters. For that, ceramic devices should be tunable – change in dielectric constant with applied voltage- with moderate to low dielectric constant (30 to 1000) and loss tangent as low as possible. To reconcile these properties, composite ceramics based on Ba0.6Sr0.4TiO3 (BSTO) and a non-ferroelectric oxide with a low dielectric constant (MgTiO3 or MgO) were synthesised. El artículo se centra después en la bilogía dramática que Lope escribió sobre los orígenes de esta familia: Los Tellos de Meneses y Valor, fortuna y lealtad (segunda parte de Los Tellos de Meneses).
