The present study assessed the effects of ethanol exposure during adolescence or adulthood. We exposed Wistar rats, males or females, to self-administered 8–10% (v/v) ethanol (BINGE group) during the first 2 h of the dark cycle, three times a week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday) during postnatal days (PDs) 32–54 or 72–94 (adolescent and adults, respectively). [Impact of job satisfaction on nursing turnover: a mixed method study].

OBIETTIVO: Descrivere la soddisfazione lavorativa (job satisfaction) ed esplorare le motivazioni della richiesta di turnover da parte degli infermieri clinici. METODO: Studio mixed-method condotto presso un’Azienda Ospedaliera di Roma Hub di II livello, su un campionamento di convenienza al personale infermieristico in servizio nelle seguenti tre aree cliniche: medica, chirurgica e d’urgenza/emergenza. RISULTATI: Il campione di 133 infermieri risulta avere una buona job satisfaction (60,9%). Il 21% si ritiene insoddisfatto e il 18% è incerto sul grado di soddisfazione. Efavirenz (EFV) is the most widely used nonnucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor administered for the control of HIV and some of its toxic effects in hepatic cells have been recently shown to display features of mitochondrial dysfunction. These data enable users to calculate temporal trends in biodiversity within and amongst assemblages using a broad range of metrics. The aim of the present longitudinal study was to quantitatively examine whether an ethical organizational culture predicts turnover among managers. To complement the quantitative results, a further important aim was to examine the self-reported reasons behind manager turnover, and the associations of ethical organizational culture with these reasons. The participants were Finnish managers working in technical and commercial fields. Abstract Over the past few years several private voluntary schemes have been developed worldwide to address the environmental issues in the forest based industry. Using survey data, this study analyse the main factors motivating companies operating in the Italian forest based industry to implement FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) standard, as a tool to promote responsible forest management and traceability of derived products, and the impact of this standard on the economic and organisational results. Audit fees and cost of debt: differences in the credibility of voluntary and mandatory audits

Despite the extensive research on audit fees, few studies have examined the effect of audit fees on the cost of debt. Based on the credence goods theory, we examine whether the effect of audits on the cost of debt is affected by the type of audit (voluntary or mandatory) and the audit fees, as well as whether there is a combined effect of voluntary audits and audit fees, so that the effect of voluntary audits on the cost of debt is affected by audit fees.
