Uso y funciones de los «hashtags» evidenciales en Twitter

This paper examines evidential hashtags on Twitter. The analyzed hashtags contain constructions of the verb decir (‘to say’) that are preceded by the hash symbol (e.g., #dicen, #sedice, #esodicen, #dicenporahí), which have not been analyzed from the perspective of evidentiality. An exploratory and qualitative study was performed using a sample of 94 tweets that were published over six months. The analysis addresses structural and semantic-pragmatic parameters. This dissertation presents the phenomenon of social television by focusing on the interplay between the traditional broadcast media and the newer social media in the context of the FIFA World Cup. The aim of the study is to shed light on interactional practices that are generated in the intersection of television and Twitter. Through the lens of digital discourse and conversation analysis the study examines how the participation in a media event is constructed in live tweeting practices. Purpose This paper aims to provide a network study of the structural and dynamical characteristics of tourism flows in Europe from 1995 to 2012. Design/methodology/approach Travels in Europe were studied by following the network science research paradigm and by focusing on the whole network of intra-European tourism destinations. Network analysis was used to map and reveal the pattern of connections between states as shaped by bilateral tourism flows. The spread of the SARS-CoV-2 virus has transformed many aspects of people’s daily life, including sports. Social networks have been flooded on these issues. The present study aims to analyze the tweets produced relating to sports and COVID-19. From the end of January to the beginning of May 2020, over 4,000,000 tweets on this subject were downloaded through the Twitter search API.
