An Accurate Quartic Force Field and Fundamental Frequencies for the Ozonide Anion: A Rare Positive Anharmonicity for the Antisymmetric Stretch

The CCSD(T) method has been used to compute a highly accurate quartic force field and fundamental frequencies for all 16O and 18O isotopomers of the ozonide anion. The CCSD and CASPT2 methods have also been used to verify the reliability of the CCSD(T) fundamental frequencies. The computed fundamental frequencies are in agreement with gas-phase experiments, but disagree with matrix isolation experiments for the antisymmetric stretch, ν3. CASPT2 calculations show that the antisymmetric part of the O3- potential surface is sensitive to the external environment. Abstract We report electrochemical quartz crystal microbalance (EQCM) results for electrodeposition of titanocene derivatized polypyrrole p(Tc3Py) films and redox transformation of polypyrrole matrix and titanocene centers immobilized in the film. Films of p(Tc3Py), Tc3Py = Tc(CH 2 ) 3 NC 4 H 4 (Tc = Cl 2 TiCpCp′, Cp = C 5 H 5 , Cp′ = C 5 H 4 ) were obtained from acetonitrile solutions of monomer on a Pt disc or thin Au layer evaporated on 10 MHz quartz crystals. Polymerization efficiency, derived from the slope of the change of resonant frequency as a function of the deposition charge ranged from 54% to 75%. In naturalist novels, aiming to depict the reality as faithfully as possible, colours are particularly important, and need to be carefully selected. An attentive reader of Zola’s Rougon-Macquart series might notice a very special use of colours that are often charged with an important symbolic value: being not only an ornament or a detail, they frequently influence and/or express the characters’ features. The proposed classification shows some most relevant examples of Zola’s conception of colours in selected parts of the series.

The Belief in Science Scale (BISS) is a unidimensional measure that assesses the degree to which science is valued as a source of superior knowledge. Due to increased academic interest in the concept of belief in science, the BISS has emerged as an important measurement instrument. Noting an absence of validation evidence, the present paper, via two studies, evaluated the scale’s factorial structure. Both studies drew on data collected from previous research. Study 1 (N = 686), using parallel analysis and exploratory factor analysis, identified a unidimensional solution accounting for 56.43% of the observed variance. Le città italiane da qualche anno stanno attraversando un momento difficile non solo in termini economici ma anche sociali e culturali in senso ampio. Tuttavia la crisi è anche un'opportunità di sperimentare strategie alternative e nuove forme di finanziamento collettivo, come il crowdfunding. Si tratta di un meccanismo che permette di finanziare collettivamente una proposta progettuale di vario genere, che in questo caso potrebbe essere legata alla città e agli spazi della vita sociale, per rafforzare il senso di appartenenza ed identità al luogo in cui i cittadini vivono e contribuire alla realizzazione di interventi per la riqualificazione urbana.

Pierwszą z nich, którą można nazwać „społeczną”, jest drzewo genealogiczne postaci tworzących powieściową rodzinę; sporządzenie tego drzewa i przygotowanie szczegółowych informacji na temat każdego bohatera i jego losów poprzedziło rozpoczęcie pracy nad cyklem, co czyni z niego rodzaj pra-struktury całej serii.
