A study in the functioning of the Voluntary Labour Corps], orders in a chronological way the knowledge on the activity of the organization of the Voluntary Labour Corps (VLC) in Poland. The author - taking advantage of the rich literaturę in the fields of pedagogy and sociology and discussing the results of his own studies - offers valuable information with reference to the share of the VLC in the work with the young who remain on the social margin and are socially maladjusted.

The article contains an analysis of results of the available research on the phenomenon of children’s violence toward their parents. The main purpose of this interpretation is to search for the theoretical structure of a prepared research tool, initially called the Teen Violence Scale Toward Parents (TVSTP). The subject of the analyzes were works and research reports as well as police statistics containing information on the phenomenon of domestic violence, including teenage violence toward parents. The purpose of this contribution is to re-examine the iconography of an Etruscan hydria by the Micali Painter, probably the most famous craftsman of the black-figure ceramics technique at the end of the 6th century B.C. In our opinion, this vase would present the Etruscan version of a Greek myth showing the ancient Tuscans as pirates attempting to kidnap Dionysus. This figuration, which also appears in Greek sources, could be interpreted as the rivalry between the two cultures for the control of the wine trade in the western part of the Mediterranean. Bœufs et chevaux sur le site protohistorique du Mormont (Suisse)

International audience; L’étude des ossements d’animaux apporte de précieux éléments sur la place du bœuf et du cheval dans une communauté fréquentant brièvement le sommet de la colline du Mormont dans les années 100 avant notre ère. Les animaux, dont 174 bovins et 34 chevaux, sont représentés par des restes découpés, des parties anatomiques, des corps incomplets et des squelettes. Ces catégories résultent de pratiques très différentes, de la consommation de la viande à l’inhumation de cadavres. Les restes ont été enfouis dans environ deux cents fosses, souvent cylindriques, avec des profondeurs allant jusqu’à 5,50 m. Malgré le temps écoulé depuis les premiers travaux du genre, la question de l'influence des méthodes sur les résultats produits n'a que rarement été posée, ou bien à peine explorée.
