Azimuthally Differential Pion Femtoscopy in Pb-Pb Collisions at √sNN = 2.76 TeV

We present the first azimuthally differential measurements of the pion source size relative to the second harmonic event plane in Pb-Pb collisions at a center-of-mass energy per nucleon-nucleon pair of √ s N N = 2.76     TeV . The measurements have been performed in the centrality range 0%–50% and for pion pair transverse momenta 0.2 < k T < 0.7     GeV / c . We find that the R side and R out radii, which characterize the pion source size in the directions perpendicular and parallel to the pion transverse momentum, oscillate out of phase, similar to what was observed at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider. However, potential benefits of MPAs to neighboring fisheries are less well-understood. This study quantifies how the European lobster (Homarus gammarus) and the fishery for this valued catch respond to the establishment of a relatively small (5.2 km2) MPA on the Norwegian Skagerrak coast. Efficient resolution of acute cytopathogenic cytomegalovirus infection through innate and adaptive host immune mechanisms is followed by lifelong maintenance of the viral genome in host tissues in a state of replicative latency, which is interrupted by episodes of virus reactivation for transmission. Abstract Abstract 876 Background: Transplantation of bone marrow (BM) from a HLA-matched sibling donor is an effective treatment for severe aplastic anemia (AA) with long-term survival in excess of 80%. In the recent years there were two trends in allogeneic stem cell transplantation (SCT) for AA: (1) increasing proportion of transplants performed from matched unrelated donors (MUD) and (2) increasing proportion of transplants using peripheral blood progenitor cells (PBSC) as stem cell source instead of BM. A similar switch to PBSC over BM grafts is reported in leukemia transplants. PBSC grafts for leukemia are associated with higher rates of chronic graft-versus-host disease (cGVHD). This …
