Heidän vanhemmilta ja kaverilta saamansa liikunnallinen tuki oli vähäisempää kuin nuoremmilla ikäluokilla ja vaihteli suuresti nuorten välillä. Lukiolaiset pitivät liikuntaa tärkeänä ja opiskelukykyä edistävänä oppiaineena.
