Este es un artículo de historia constitucional. Se centra en la relación entre la Constitución española de 1812 y la Constitución boliviana de 1826. Su conclusión principal niega la idea de que, por el solo hecho de que ambas fueron cartas liberales contemporáneas entre sí escritas en la misma lengua, la primera Constitución haya influenciado en la segunda. Al contrario, toma a las semejanzas de redacción como un mero mecanismo de auxilio técnico, pero no por una fuente de influencia. A partir de las circunstancias históricas de las Cortes de Cádiz y de los precedentes de la monarquía española, el artículo analiza la posición de la Jefatura del Estado monárquica en la Constitución de 1812 caracterizada como una «Monarquía moderada» basada en los principios estructurales de soberanía nacional y división de poderes que determinan la configuración del Rey como poder constituido en la nueva forma de gobierno. La afirmación de la soberanía nacional impregna el conjunto del texto constitucional sin perjuicio de que coexista retóricamente con la antigua legitimidad monárquica. While lack of detectable sequence similarity hampers the analysis of distantly related viruses, structural biology investigations of conserved capsid protein structures facilitate the study of distant evolutionary relationships. Here we characterize the lipid-containing ssDNA temperate bacteriophage ΦCjT23, which infects Flavobacterium sp. (Bacteroidetes). We report ΦCjT23-like sequences in the genome of strains belonging to several Flavobacterium species. However, to date, no study has investigated the association between unclean cooking fuel and mild cognitive impairment (MCI). Thus, we investigated the association between cooking fuel type or ventilation type and MCI among adults aged ≥ 65 years using nationally representative datasets from six low- and middle-income countries. The search for new materials to be used in desulfurisation (sweetening) of fuels is one of the main topics of current research. In this paper, we explored the possibility of using supramolecular gels obtained from the gelation of ionic liquid binary mixtures. Indeed, some ionic liquids are generally known as efficient extraction phases for desulfurisation of fuels. In rare cases, one of their main drawbacks is their partial solubility in the fuel, leading to contamination. Then, their immobilisation due to the formation of a gelatinous network may be a challenge. Variable time amplitude amplification and quantum algorithms for linear algebra problems

Quantum amplitude amplification is a method of increasing a success probability of an algorithm from a small epsilon>0 to Theta(1) with less repetitions than classically. In this paper, we generalize quantum amplitude amplification to the case when parts of the algorithm that is being amplified stop at different times. We then apply the new variable time amplitude amplification to give two new quantum algorithms for linear algebra problems. Our first algorithm is an improvement of Harrow et al. algorithm for solving systems of linear equations. We improve the running time of the algorithm from O(k^2 log N) to O(k log^3 k log N) where k is the condition number of the system of equations. …
