Tässä maisterintutkielmassa tutkin kotimaisten kaunokirjallisten esikoisteosten takakansitekstejä promotionaalisuuden näkökulmasta. Työssäni ymmärrän promotionaalisuuden laajasti kaikiksi niiksi keinoiksi, joilla pyritään herättämään potentiaalisen ostajan kiinnostus. Käytännössä tarkastelen tutkielmassani niitä kielellisiä keinoja, joita käytetään kirjan markkinoimiseksi, eli kuinka takakansitekstin lukija yritetään houkutella lukemaan koko kirja. Le rapport "Notre avenir à tous" (1989) exprime, en définissant le « développement durable », un souci d’harmonisation des rapports entre les nations qui était déjà présent dans la charte (1945) des nations unies prônant, de son côté, la paix internationale. Ce rapport marque pourtant un tournant stratégique: l’invitation à un mode de vie partagé passe cette fois par un « retour à la nature ». Co-evolution between Trust in Teachers and Higher Education Enabled by ICT Advancement – A Suggestion to ICT Growing Economies

In light of the increasing significance of trust-based higher education towards digitally-rich learning environments, co-evolution dynamism between trust in teachers and higher education enabled by ICT advancement was analyzed. Using the rate of trust in teachers for good education in the Global Teacher Status Index, together with statistics on higher education level and ICT advancement, an empirical numerical analysis of 20 countries was attempted. A New Augmented Lagrangian Approach for $L^1$-mean Curvature Image Denoising

Variational methods are commonly used to solve noise removal problems. In this paper, we present an augmented Lagrangian-based approach that uses a discrete form of the L1-norm of the mean curvature of the graph of the image as a regularizer, discretization being achieved via a finite element method. When a particular alternating direction method of multipliers is applied to the solution of the resulting saddle-point problem, this solution reduces to an iterative sequential solution of four subproblems.
