Säärisuojien suojaavuus ja käytettävyys jalkapallossa

Tutkimuksessa selvitettiin Zero Point Finland Oy:n valmistamien säärisuojaprototyyppien toimivuutta jalkapallossa. Säärisuojien toimivuus voidaan jakaa vammoilta suojaamiseen sekä käyttömukavuuteen. Tutkittavia prototyyppejä oli kolme, jotka erosivat toisistaan suojan sisäpehmusteen materiaalin osalta. Prototyyppien suojaavuutta tutkittiin iskutestien avulla, joissa tuloksia verrattiin jo markkinoilla oleviin Niken Mercurial Blade sekä Mercurial Flylite -suojiin. The aim of this study was to investigate physical fitness, football-specific skills and their association with injury risk in youth football. Altogether 447 male and female players aged 9 to 14 years (median 12 years) participated in performance tests and prospective follow-up. The physical fitness tests included five-jump test for distance, 30-m sprint, football-specific figure of eight agility, countermovement jump, and Yo-Yo intermittent endurance test level 1. Objectives The present study examined reciprocal relations between autonomous motivation from self-determination theory (SDT) and constructs from the theory of planned behavior (TPB) in a sport injury context. Methods The study adopted a three-wave longitudinal cross-lagged panel design. Increased joint mobility is a risk factor for joint injury, but muscle function may be able to compensate for it. Current evidence suggests reduced force production capacity in people with hypermobility. However, little is known about the lumbar spine. The purpose of this cross-sectional study was to assess whether there was a link between joint mobility and transverse abdominis and multifidus muscles contraction, muscles ascribed a core-stability role.
