Trends in infant leukaemia in West Germany in relation to in utero exposure due to Chernobyl accident.

A temporary increase in the incidence of infant leukaemia in Greece was reported by Petridou et al., which was attributed to in utero exposure to ionising radiation resulting from the Chernobyl accident. We performed a similar analysis based on the data of the German Childhood Cancer Registry in order to check whether the observation could be confirmed by means of independent data. Applying the same definitions as Petridou et al., we also observed an increased incidence of infant leukaemia in a cohort of children born after the Chernobyl accident. Tra grammatica e politica: l’uso delle preposizioni v е na davanti al termine Ucraina

This paper analyzes the use of the preposition in that in Ukrainian and Russian can assume the form v or na. In the 20th century the use of both prepositions has assumed political meanings which has diversified the semantics of the expressions na Ukraine and v Ukraine (in Ukraine) and correlates. We aim to show the evolution of meaning of these prepositions, to explain the use of them in Ukrainian and Russian publicist and diplomatic texts, to demonstrate how scholars and publicists motivate the use of v and na and to highlight correlate problems.

Badania archeologiczne na Ukrainie nad Dunajem w miejscowości Kartal/Orłowka

Głównym celem artykułu jest przedstawienie badań archeologicznych z 2013 r. w miejscowości Kartal/Orłowka na Ukrainie. Badania dotyczyły odkrycia wielokulturowego kompleksu osadniczego i znajdującego się na nim cmentarzyska. Odkryte cmentarzysko związane jest z eneolitem i epoką brązu. Pochówki szkieletowe odkryte podczas wykopalisk ułożone były w pozycji embrionalnej (skurczone po prawej stronie, nogi podciągnięte pod klatkę piersiową), jeden z nich był podwójny. Przy pochówkach odnaleziono wyposażenie w postaci miski ceramicznej i małego glinianego naczynia. Bakalaura darbā “Francijas, Itālijas un Nīderlandes divpusējā militārā sadarbība ar Ukrainu” tiek pētīts, kā atšķiras Francijas, Itālijas un Nīderlandes divpusēja militārā sadarbība ar Ukrainu kopš militārā konflikta izcelšanās tās teritorijā 2014. gadā. Darba teorētisko pamatu veido mūsdienu hibrīdās karadarbības teoriju iztirzājums, bet empīriskā izpēte tiek balstīta uz militārās sadarbības izpausmju klasifikāciju- tiešā militārā sadarbība (konvencionālā militārā sadarbība un sadarbība hibrīddraudu novēršanas jomā) un netiešā militārā sadarbība (humānā un medicīniskā palīdzība un darbības pret agresorvalsti).
