In the spring of 1947, the ‘Venetian’ architect took part in the competition, organized by the Municipality of Venice, for a series of houses to be built in the north and south estuary of the Venetian lagoon, obtaining the first and second prize, both ex aequo, with projects for residences proposals in Burano and Pellestrina. In these two unbuilt works, we can trace some important methodological aspects about the approach to the project by the architect who will make Venice the city subject of her later studies.

Luigi Moretti (Rome 1906 - Capraia 1973) was one of the undisputed protagonists of the history of architecture in Italy during the twentieth century. This essay attempts to investigate one of his projects never built dating back to 1936, the Casa del Balilla in Messina, developing a method based essentially on critical redrawing, starting from the exhaustive graphic-design documentation of the time, found in the Central Archive of the state. The objectives of the work we present concern the reinterpretation of architectural traces of the past with a "gamification" project for educational laboratories to be activated in schools of different order and grade. The methodology used starts from the 3D-reconstruction of disappeared architectures, urban plots where the stratification lends itself to different interpretations, based on the documentary information found and the hypotheses that can be spent directly from reading the artefact. In particolare Francesco Maggio, coautore, si è occupato dello studio di Casa Wilinsky, progetto eseguito dall'architetto berlinese tra il 1928 e il 1929. The contribution aims to conjecturally reconstruct and analyze the unrealized project by Giuseppe Damiani Almeyda regarding the “Galleria Oretea” for Palermo. It is an urban project of considerable size and impact, which should have provided the city of Palermo, in the old town, with a gallery in the style of the Parisian “passages”, inspired by the contemporary creations of Milan and Naples. Thanks to the recent cataloging and publication of the entire corpus of drawings in the Damiani Archive, a reinterpretation of the project was carried out through a three-dimensional recomposition of the immersed in the places where it was originally conceived. In August 1940 the magazine ‘Domus’, in a special issue dedicated to the “casa al mare”, publishes the project of the “Casa sul mare di Sicilia” by Lina Bo Bardi and Carlo Pagani. It is one of the first projects of Lina Bo, an utopian project whose representations indicate a way of proceedings that coagulates theory and imagination conceived as indissoluble relationship of “doing”.
