Towards a unified process model for graphemic buffer disorder and deep dysgraphia

Models based on the competitive queuing (CQ) approach can explain many of the effects on dysgraphic patients’ spelling attributed to disruption of the “graphemic output buffer”. Situating such a model in the wider spelling system, however, raises the question of what happens when input to the buffer (e.g., from a semantic system) is degraded while the buffer remains intact. We present a preliminary exploration of predictions following from the CQ approach. This paper deals with some letters by Ferrara written between the years 1864 an 1870, except for the year 1869. They are about thirty-two hand written letters, among wich some have never been published. They were sent by Francesco Ferrara to his daughter Lilli and to Giuseppe Bracco Amari (Pepè).In these letters Ferrara refers to personal events commenting both on some figures and the political life of his time. he particulary wrote about his involvement in the Italian Financial politics, his suffered decision of taking part directly in the Reign government and the consequences of the stock market crisis for his family.

What can we learn from Long Time Series? Italian Living Standards after Unification and Dualism North-South

Using Italian time series since 1861, we explore the evolution of living standards afterpolitical unification both at the national and at the territorial level. Firstly, we use univariate statistical analysis on homogeneous national time series. Secondly, we employ available homogeneous series at a disaggregated level to measure territorial disparities across regions and four macro-areas. In this chapter we present the results of a systematic literature review of the recommendations in the existing research literature on usability work in agile systems development. The review contributes by summarizing the literature in light of seven claims about how to integrate usability work into an agile development project. By analyzing the claims we show how the previous literature provides grounds, warrants, backing, rebuttal, and qualification with regard to each of them. Influence of environmental factors on the spatial distribution and diversity of forest soil in Latvia

This study was carried out to determine the spatial relationships between environmental factors (Quaternary deposits, topographical situation, land cover, forest site types, tree species, soil texture) and soil groups, and their prefix qualifiers (according to the international Food and Agricultural Organization soil classification system World Reference Base for Soil Resources [FAO WRB]).
