The challenges brought by the Euro

Due to the crises we all go through, crises which was felt simultaneously in all the States of The European Union, the globalization being even more present, a possible improvement of the economy could not be but a unitary solution, as well as the adoption of the Euro as a unique currency. Though, the solution is to create a Fiscal Union within the member states, taking into account the economical characteristics of each country, in general and according to their resources and expenses available on every economical branch. The purpose of this article is to analyse the issues concerned with the Fiscal Union for the Euro zone.

The aim of this paper is to investigate the effects of the European Monetary Union on the hypothesis of an integrated European Capital Market from January 1993 to December 2004. The extent of the period and the use of Fama and MacBeth [1973]'s methodology for estimating a large number of international asset pricing models that includes an Adler and Dumas [1983] model with and without domestic factor make possible to evaluate this hypothesis as a process towards a full integration. This chapter provides the Finnish scope on cultural and social foundations of ethical educational leadership. Finland is often seen as an outlier. Predominant transnational trends are recognized but they tend to reach Finland with a delay and manifest themselves somewhat differently from the mainstream. There are contextual reasons for the deviance. We will present these focusing on how cultural and social aspects have been evolving in Finland. Furthermore, we will analyse the constituents, organisation and responsibilities embedded in the Finnish education system. The common duck mussel Anodonta anatina can live in sympatry with—and use the same host, brown trout (Salmo trutta)—as the endangered freshwater pearl mussel Margaritifera margaritifera. Since the glochidia release of A. anatina takes place seasonally earlier than that of M. margaritifera, brown trout can be sequentially exposed first to A. anatina and then to M. margaritifera. Cross-immunity, an immune reaction induced in fish host against glochidia after the infection with glochidia of another mussel species, is possible.
