Käsillä oleva tutkielma tarkastelee Ernesto Laclaun poliittista filosofiaa kansainvälisen politiikan näkökulmasta. Ennen kaikkea Laclaun tulkinta universalismin ja partikularismin välisestä suhteesta on työn kannalta keskeisessä osassa. Laclaun näkemyksen mukaan kaikki yhteisöt rakentuvat jollekin partikulaarien ja universaalin väliselle artikulaatiolle, joka puolestaan on seurausta kontingentista inhimillisestä toiminnasta. Työssä sovelletaan Laclaun ajattelua suojelun ja humanitarismin problematiikan yhteyteen. The idea of a common European cultural heritage is frequently referred to in the political discourses and practices of the EU. The idea of a European cultural heritage elevates the ideas of ownership and inheritance beyond the local, regional, or national frameworks and transforms the heritage sites and objects into a ‘common good’ belonging to all Europeans and into a source of a common European cultural identity. Magiczne Boże Narodzenie i związane z nim zwyczaje i obrzędy w międzywojennym "Płomyku” i "Płomyczku"

W międzywojennym „Płomyku” i „Płomyczku” autorzy odkrywali przed dziećmi bogactwo bożonarodzeniowej tradycji, odwołując się do chrześcijańskich korzeni. Nie pomijano najważniejszych zwyczajów i obyczajów, również świeckich. I choć nie zajmowano się w jakiś szczególny sposób danym regionem Polski, to nie zapominano o ludowości. W tekstach obserwuje się dążność do scalania. Święta Bożego Narodzenia mają w tych pismach charakter religijny i wiejski.
