Lattice dynamics study of scheelite tungstates under high pressure I.BaWO4

Room-temperature Raman scattering has been measured in lead tungstate up to 17 GPa. We report the pressure dependence of all the Raman modes of the tetragonal scheelite phase PbWO4-I or stolzite, space group I41 /a, which is stable at ambient conditions. Upon compression the Raman spectrum undergoes significant changes around 6.2 GPa due to the onset of a partial structural phase transition to the monoclinic PbWO4-III phase space group P21 /n. Further changes in the spectrum occur at 7.9 GPa, related to a scheelite-to-fergusonite transition. Improvement of matrix solutions of generalized nonlinear wave equation

Four classes of nonlinear wave equations are joined in one generalized nonlinear wave equation. A theorem is proved that the whole series of matrix functions satisfy the generalized wave equation. A justification of rotational properties of matrix solutions is given and a mathematical model of the ring vortex around the acute edge is proposed using of matrix solutions.

This paper is focused on the problems related to the calibration of static electricity meters with nonsinusoidal test waveforms. This is an up-to-date issue since the harmonic distortion levels are ever increasing, especially in low-voltage power systems, and in such conditions the performances of the modern static electricity meters can be negatively affected, depending on the implemented measurement algorithm. La Corte di Cassazione conferma il precedente orientamento favorevole a qualificare come vessatorie le clausole, pattuite nei contratti di mediazione, con le quali le agenzie immobiliari si assicurano il diritto alla provvigione anche in caso di mancata conclusione dell’affare. La soluzione avallata dalla Corte – che nello specifico, per il caso di recesso del venditore, commina la nullita` consumeristica alla clausola con cui il mediatore ottenga un compenso, a prescindere da una commisurazione all’attivita` svolta – si espone, tuttavia, al rischio di traghettare il giudizio di vessatorieta` sulla sponda di un inammissibile sindacato sull’equilibrio economico dello scambio.
Diverse histories, common ground and a shared future:the education of career guidance and counselling professionals in the Nordic countries

The development of education programmes in career guidance and counseling (CGC) has followed different paths among the various Nordic countries. Ten CGC programmes in Denmark, Finland, Greenland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden were evaluated against the NICE curricular model. The results show that all NICE core competences are represented in the curricula. However, there is greater focus in some programmes on developing competences for individual career guidance, than on developing competences for working at organisational and societal levels. Digital skills and application use among Finnish home care workers in the eldercare sector

This chapter explores the role digital skills, interest in technology, and social support have in home care workers’ use of digital applications at work. The empirical research is based on the 2019 University of Jyväskylä survey study on eldercare work (N = 6,903), drawn from the members of four majors trade unions in Finland. In this chapter, a sub-sample of home care workers (n = 1,398) is used in the analyses. Structural equation models are used to estimate the direct and indirect effects of available technology support, digital skills, and interest in technology on the actual use of various digital applications at work.
