ObjectiveTo assess the psychometric properties of the Spanish version of the SWN scale, an instrument which evaluates the subjective experience of psychotic patients towards neuroleptic treatment.MethodsA validation study (feasibility, reliability, and validity) was conducted in 20 psychiatric centers. Patients were evaluated with the PANSS, the CGI severity scale and the SWN-20. A re-test was conducted one week after baseline. The study included clinically stabilized outpatients diagnosed with schizophrenia (DSM-IV-TR criteria) who were on treatment as usual. Introduction Recently, Functional Remediation (FR) has proven to be effective in improving the functional outcome of euthymic bipolar patients. Objective Our objective was to test the efficacy of FR programme in a subsample of euthymic bipolar II patients (BPII). Aims The main aim was improve the functional outcome in these patients. This short note reports the curious breeding, in terms of nest features, of several Sparrows mainly showing the phenotype of the Spanish Sparrow or Passer prope hispaniolensis, though, few males exhibited less barred flanks as for the Passer italiae. This is in agre- ement with the ambiguous taxonomy of Sparrows of Sicily that is emerged over the past 150 years. As matter of fact, the taxonomic classification of the Sicilian sparrow spans from Passer hispaniolen- sis to Passer italiae and includes hybrid species in between.
