SUMMARYRecent studies have suggested that vaccination induces alterations in the T cell receptor (TCR) repertoire. We investigate the diversity of the TCR repertoire after immunization with a recombinant hepatitis B surface vaccine in seven healthy subjects in CD8+ T cells in peripheral blood lymphocytes. Cellular immune responses were monitored over time by sorting CD8 T cells followed by TCR-VA and -VB complementarity determining region 3 (CDR3) analysis. The immune response to hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg) is mostly genetically determined. Interleukin 10 (IL-10) is a central immunoregulatory cytokine with important effects on B-cells. We have studied the influence of IL-10 promoter polymorphisms on the immune response to HBsAg and hepatitis A vaccination. To evaluate trends in seasonal influenza vaccination coverage in primary healthcare workers (PHCWs) in Spain between 2008 and 2011.We made an anonymous web survey of PHCWs in 2012. Information on attitudes towards and knowledge of influenza vaccine, and immunization in previous seasons was collected. Self-reported vaccination coverage and factors related to vaccination continuity were analysed.Of 5433 workers contacted, 2625 (48.3%) responded to the survey: 47.0% were general practitioners, 10.3% paediatricians and 42.7% nurses. The objective of this study was to investigate the factors associated with seasonal influenza vaccination in the 2011– 2012 season. We carried out an anonymous web survey of Spanish primary healthcare workers in 2012. Information on vaccination, and knowledge and attitudes about the influenza vaccine was collected.
