Hvordan teste styrke/stabilitet i kroppens kjernemuskulatur? : en metodisk sammenligning av ulike testprosedyrer

2008

Accessible eGovernment services : developing a parental benefit calculator with improved usability

2007

Masteroppgave i informasjons- og kommunikasjonsteknologi 2007 – Høgskolen i Agder, Grimstad An online parental benefit calculator offered earlier by the Norwegian Labour and Welfare Organisation (NAV) gave only simple estimates on how long a mother or father could take the parental leave and did not support assessment of scenarios allowing for combination of the leave with a part-time job, the so-called “graded withdrawal”-scenarios. To work out such scenarios, the parents-to-be had either to get acquainted with the regulations and work out the various scenarios manually or contact the local social security office for assistance. We present a prototype of a new version of the parental benef…

Implementering av internettbasert pasientjournal i en helseinstitusjon

2007

Associations between parental rules, style of communication and children's screen time

2015

Background Research suggests an inverse association between parental rules and screen time in pre-adolescents, and that parents’ style of communication with their children is related to the children’s time spent watching TV. Methods UP4FUN was a multi-centre, cluster randomised controlled trial with pre- and post-test measurements in each of five countries; Belgium, Germany, Greece, Hungary and Norway. Questionnaires were completed by the children at school and the parent questionnaire was brough…

2012

Published version of an article in the journal: Norsk Epidemiologi. Also available from the publisher at: http://www.ntnu.no/ojs/index.php/norepid/article/view/1562 Open access Regular physical activity in older adults is critically important to ensure healthy aging. The link between physical activity and prevention of disease, maintenance of independence, and improved quality of life is supported by strong evidence (ACSM's Position Stand 1998; Spirduso & Cronin, 2001; Taylor et al., 2004). The purpose of this review is therefore to clarify the importance of regular physical activity and training during the aging process and in addition, present the relationship between a physical active li…
