Wind accretion in the massive X-ray binary 4U 2206+54: abnormally slow wind and a moderately eccentric orbit

Massive X-ray binaries are usually classified depending on the properties of the donor star in classical, supergiant and Be X-ray binaries. The massive X-ray binary 4U 2206+54 does not fit in any of these groups, and deserves a detailed study to understand how the transfer of matter and the accretion on to the compact object take place. To this end we study an IUE spectrum of the donor and obtain a wind terminal velocity (v_inf) of ~350 km/s, which is abnormally slow for its spectral type. We also analyse here more than 9 years of available RXTE/ASM data. Darbā tiek veikta Latvijas armijas 5.Cēsu kājnieku pulka darbības analīze laikā no aktīvās kara darbības noslēguma Latvijas teritorijā (Neatkarības kara) līdz 1934.gadam. Maģistra darba mērķis ir analizēt Latvijas armijas kājnieku vienību militāro darbību (apmācības, nodrošinājuma, bruņojuma u. c.) galvenos virzienus, kā piemēru izmantojot vienu no 12 armijas kājnieku pulkiem, Rīgas garnizonā ietilpstošo 5.Cēsu kājnieku pulku. Simultaneously, social distancing policies have isolated people from their normal social interactions. These societal changes have inevitably influenced gambling and gaming practices, and many people may have turned to betting or gaming as a means of social exchange. Developing a stable personal identity is considered a more precarious task in today’s society than hitherto. Skilful digital engagement may, however, constitute a valuable asset in necessary identity exploration and commitment. Applying a person-oriented approach, we examined for the first time how identity profiles are associated with digital engagement, operationalized as digital competence, gaming seriousness, type of internet activity and excessive ICT use. Morphogenesis in plants is usually reconstructed by scanning electron microscopy and histology of meristematic structures. These techniques are destructive and require many samples to obtain a consecutive series of states.
