Tämän tutkielman aiheena ovat pilvipalveluiden välittäjäpalvelut. Viime vuosina pilvipalvelut ovat yleistyneet ja tämän myötä markkinoilla on syntynyt kysyntää myös pilvipalveluiden välittäjäpalveluille. Tutkielman tarkoituksena on selvittää, miten välittäjäpalvelut toimivat, millaisia välittäjäpalveluita markkinoilla on tarjolla ja millaisiin liiketoimintamalleihin ne tukeutuvat. Osana kysymyksen vastausta on tarpeen myös tarkastella pilvipalveluiden toimintaa. Tutkielma koostuu kahdesta osasta. In Sauropterygia, a diverse group of Mesozoic marine reptiles, fossil evidence of viviparity (live‐bearing) only exists for Pachypleurosauria and Plesiosauria, and was assumed to also be the case for nothosaurs. Previous studies have successfully applied an extant squamate model to sauropterygian life‐history traits. In extant squamates, oviparity and viviparity are associated with differences in life‐history trait combinations. We establish growth curves for Nothosaurus specimens based on their humeral histology. The effects of endothelium-derived endothelin-1 and snake venom-derived sarafotoxin S6b, peptides with striking structural and functional similarities, were examined and compared in isolated middle cerebral arteries of goats. 2. Endothelin-1 and sarafotoxin S6b contracted cerebral arteries in a concentration-dependent manner. The potency of endothelin-1 (EC50 = 4.9 (3.9-6.2) x 10(-10) M) was about ten times higher than that of sarafotoxin S6b (EC50 = 5.5 (4.4-6.9) x 10(-9) M). During the studies on the invertebrate fauna of the subterranean part of the “Wieliczka” Salt Mine in Wieliczka, Poland, the presence of many specimens of the dipteran species Meoneura obscurella (Fallén 1823) was observed. Organic remains and faeces related to the presence of mice (Mus musculus) were indicated as a potential food source for the insects. M. obscurella displays lecithotrophic viviparity (ovoviviparity), which has developed due to extremely harsh abiotic conditions and a lack of food.
