In the ?barri del mercat?, in the city of Valencia and very close to its Lonja, there is a building complex which is the object of this study. The research, carried out from the simple field of toponymy, to the constructive analysis, lead us to suppose that it is the building of the Valencian trade union of cloth-shearers. It can be seen how the building now camouflaged by other subsequent interventions, corresponds to a type that cannot be related to those usually built in the city of Valencia. Its origins clearly from the Valencian self-governing period splendor, its dimensions and the finishes used in its construction seem to refer to a medieval workshop. A structure of great importance …
A New Perspective on the Relationship between Trading Variables and Volatility in Futures Markets

In this paper, we study the relationship between trading-related variables and volatility in futures markets, from a new unifying perspective, which is based on the separation of open and closed positions. Volatility in stock index futures markets (Standard & Poor’s 500, DAX 30 and Nikkei 225) is related to the flow of contracts entered into the markets and the flow of contracts that are closed out. In general, the daily changes in the number of open and closed positions are both positively correlated with volatility. ResumenMuchos mercados dirigidos por órdenes permiten a sus participantes introducir órdenes límite en las que no se revela el tamaño completo de la orden. En este artículo, se describe la utilización de este tipo de órdenes en el mercado español de acciones. Se muestra que una de cada cinco transacciones realizadas en el mercado español implica la detección de volumen oculto. La contribución del volumen oculto al proceso de negociación es más importante entre las acciones menos líquidas, y durante períodos de elevado riesgo de exposición de las órdenes limite. Dipeptidyl Enoates As Potent Rhodesain Inhibitors That Display a Dual Mode of Action

Dipeptidyl enoates were prepared through a high-yielding two-step synthetic route. They have a dipeptidic structure with a 4-oxoenoate moiety as a warhead with multiple reactive sites. Dipeptidyl enoates were screened against rhodesain and human cathepsins B and L, and were found to be potent and selective inhibitors of rhodesain. Among them (S,E)-ethyl 5-((S)-2-{[(benzyloxy)carbonyl]amino}-3-phenylpropanamido)-7-methyl-4-oxooct-2-enoate (6) was the most potent, with an IC50 value of 16.4 nm and kinact/Ki=1.6×106 m−1 s−1 against rhodesain. Bakalaura darbs ir uzrakstīts uz 30 lappusēm latviešu valodā. Tas satur 11 attēlus, 2 tabulas un 41 atsauci uz literatūras avotiem. Darba mērķis bija noteikt vizuālās meklēšanas izpildes atšķirības sertificētiem radiologiem, radiologiem-rezidentiem un medicīnas studentiem, veicot trīsdimensionālo redzes uzdevumu uz volumetriskā daudzplakņu ekrāna. Pētījumā piedalījās 43 dalībnieki. Dalībnieki veica vizuālās meklēšanas uzdevumus ar atšķirīgo stimulu skaitu un mērķa-distraktora līdzību uz volumetriskā daudzplakņu ekrāna. Katrā uzdevumā dalībniekam bija jāatrod mērķa stimuls citu stimulu vidū un jāsniedz atbilde par tā relatīvo atrašanas vietu uz ekrāna. Rezultātā tika secināts, ka vizuālās me…

Bakalaura darbs ir uzrakstīts latviešu valodā uz 26 lapām. Tas satur 12 attēlus un 36 atsauces uz literatūras avotiem. Darba mērķis bija izpētīt dažāda vecuma cilvēku vizuālās meklēšanas spējas un atšķirības, veicot uzdevumu uz volumetriskā daudzplakņu ekrāna. 20 pētījuma dalībnieki bija sadalīti divās vecuma grupās (19-29 g. un 47-57 g.). Viņi veica vizuālās meklēšanas uzdevumus ar dažādu skaitu elementu un mērķa-distraktora līdzību. Dalībniekam bija jāatrod mērķa stimuls un jānosaka tā relatīvā atrašanas vieta uz volumetriskā ekrāna.
