Degenerate Riemann theta functions, Fredholm and wronskian representations of the solutions to the KdV equation and the degenerate rational case

International audience; We degenerate the finite gap solutions of the KdV equation from the general formulation given in terms of abelian functions when the gaps tend to points, to get solutions to the KdV equation given in terms of Fredholm determinants and wronskians. For this we establish a link between Riemann theta functions, Fredholm determinants and wronskians. This gives the bridge between the algebro-geometric approach and the Darboux dressing method.We construct also multi-parametric degenerate rational solutions of this equation.

Maģistra darbā “Krievu pretboļševistiskā kustība Latvijā 1920.-1934.g.” ir apskatītas krievu pretboļševistisko spēku aktivitātes Latvijā no 1920. g. līdz 1934. g., tas īpatnības, mērķi un sasniegumi. Ir arī apskatītas Latvijas valdības reakcijā uz šo darbību, un Latvijas un PSRS attiecības ietekme uz to. Darba gaita secināts, ka attiecīgajā laika posmā Latvijā bija viens no krievu pretboļševistiskas kustības centiem. Tomēr organizācijas aktīvu darbinieku skaits nebija liels, un ziņas par šo organizāciju darbību ir piepildītas ar pārspīlējumiem un mītiem. Political risks: the “red shift” in debt sustainability analysis

Political stability and economic policy uncertainty can be key determinants of sovereign debt dynamics, and we show how they can be incorporated in debt sustainability analysis. We distinguish between short-term ambiguity and long-term uncertainty about political risk factors, and using a combination of narrative scenarios and calibrated probabilistic scenarios we obtain a comprehensive heatmap of high-risk debt dynamics. We use Italy as an interesting case study and demonstrate a “red shift” in the assessment of vulnerabilities when accounting for political risks. Ignoring these risks can lead to excessive optimism and wrong decisions.
